Despite the complexity (which isn't that bad once you become accustomed), top fill and deck access was enough for me to retire my lites. Add in better wicking too. Sold them off a while ago (and my mini 2.1, which, fun fact, was my first rebuildable).

For me those features just aren't worth 180 bucks, KFL's are easily filled from the bottom and I never needed better wicking, believe it or not I've never had a single dry hit, even using high VG juices.

But hey, that's just me, many including yourself love their V4's and that's really all that matters.

There was a pic posted a few pages back showing the bottom of this atty, that looks like the build deck is removable. What do you guys think of the possibility, that they are planning of a new larger tank, that will use this same piece? Just a thought that it could be possible.

Would go to q's interchangable comment. Although, he misled us on the drip tips . . .
Both very interesting points. That little rectangular piece on the bottom, and the interchangeable comment are intriguing for sure.

I should watch the Plumes episode... But with a wife and a 3yr old.... Don't know if that can happen...

No doubt. Gotta use what YOU want to use. No good or bad.

Just FYI, only $150 from intaste.de after reduction of VAT and exchange rate + shipping.

Well I must have missed that comment from Mr. Q, I was just thinking that that part, and maybe the chimney could be used in a larger tank, and they would not have to build a whole new tank.

You can make it with 41 parts and platinum plate it and it still won't be as user friendly as these. SM would have to come up with something so next level that changes the game completely for me to even consider retiring these 4 KF Lites.

I'm with you on this ... the KFL+ was the home run of tanks for me

I bought 9 of them, used from the classies ... I will likely be vaping these forever.

Best of all for me is the draw, I like a longer, tighter draw ... and, filling from the bottom has never bothered me.

This atomizer war is rather amusing to me, I've purchased a few of the low cost RTA's that reviewed well in the flavor production department and every time I have to say…are these reviewers just blowing smoke up our butts to get free gear or what, there hasn't been one tank yet that can out perform my KFL's…for my style of vaping anyway, I'm mouth to lung with 18-24mg

Very nice, one of my absolute favorite things about the KFL is its infinite customizability, from bell caps, nano tanks, top caps and so on…the chameleon of RTA's that never leaks or lets you down. I've tried many but always end up with a KFL back in hand…doesn't mean I won't keep trying new things though, I have a Squape RS and a Cubis tank on the way.

I'm with you totally. I'm a kayfun guy and the china tanks just don't do it for me. Biggest issue is the often the airflow. "Turbulent" to quote GG and makes them unusable. Closest I've come is, surprisingly the goliath v2. But, the juice flow control broke on me (pin broke) and getting the deck out was a B. Anyways, I guess my point is folks who complain about $150 on a tank aren't saving anything because you will end up spending about the same on, admittedly, more tanks . . . but more tanks that you throw out because they broke.

The only thing thevKFL+ needs us more airflow

Gotta question what sized batteries are used in your Provari? 18350 or 18500?

I can tell you two RTAs that do beat the KFL+ for flavor.

Silverplay Nano, and Goblin Mini.

Both beats the KFL+ for flavor not byva great margin but they do beat it.

I had high hopes for the Billow V2. I loved the build quality of the Billow V2 but it was sorely lacking in the flavor Dept. I cleaned it up and sold it

There was a couple things I didn't like about the Goblin Mini, a little for my liking and the drip setup was horrible.

It does make sense the flavor might be slightly better, that's usually the case with these very short tanks and being dual coil it has a distinct advantage. The V2 is now out and it's top fill and I think they fixed the drip tip issue, airflow might still be a deal breaker though.

I ordered a Squape RS a couple days ago after seeing a few stellar reviews, not my favorite looking tank but for 20 bucks I figured I give it a shot...SXK makes it and they get high marks for producing high quality clones, we'll see.

That's $50 too much for this one. I don't see this tank succeeding unless 1)EU laws go through 2)EU consumers already prefer smaller tanks.

I can't see this tank selling a lot in the US.

Edit: In fact, I just checked my post from December 2014 in the K4 thread and it looks like I bought the K4 for $155 from intaste. $150 for mini is ridiculous.

I just don't understand the hatred of this new Kayfun Mini v3.

The Mini models that came before it were SUPER popular.
The fact that SvoëMesto has taken everything they've learned since then, and poured it into a new reincarnation of an highly popular model, AND made it "future proof" by guarding against the EU regulations...
I mean...they've poured a lot of heart and soul into this thing, and we don't know FOR SURE that this is all they have planned.
In a world of cheap, garbage, throw-away, look-alike Chinese tanks which use prebuilt dime-a-dozen, non-customizable coils...the SvoëMesto way of doing things still lives and breathes VERY well in this new Mini.
Get over it people.
The whole vaping world doesn't function on disposable Chinese garbage, or premium Ferrari-like high end gear.
"Cloud chasing", "clone humping", "$35 China-tank fanbois" are NOT...I repeat...NOT the majority, or the END ALL, BE ALL of vaping. Neither are the low-power, play-it-safe crowd.

Have you forgotten the engineering in SvoëMesto atomizers that changed the very nature of the way you vape? ALMOST our whole "culture" is majorly-based on the way the humble Kayfun Lite+ works.

Nobody is asking you to buy this thing.
Someone said it earlier: This should be reviewed from the perspective of WHAT IS GOOD about it, for those who may have no other viable/reliable choice, or vision, for freeing themselves of cigarettes.
When is it gonna end? I'm surprised I don't see you fools condemning each other for the TIME OF DAY you vape, for all the asinine criticism you heap on each other for things as petty as wick choice...let alone mod preference!
It's bullsh|t the way vapers treat each other. You thought brand loyalty for cigarettes was bad? You never dreamed of the day someone would be publicly FLAMED for their choice in vape gear they chose, to save their lives!
Who cares that this thing is 19mm and 2ml??? If it ain't your game, just pass on it!!!
But dude...let Billy Knows-Nothing, or Average Joe New-Vaper learn about this device! Let them learn how ultra reliable SvoëMesto gear is. Let them enjoy the feeling of high-quality on their eGo battery.
Because to be honest, the eGo "style" VV battery is STILL the highest sold device on the market. It's still what the average "new-to-vaping" consumer is sold.
And we lose sight of that, here in this elite forum of ultra-experienced vapers. We have forgotten what it was like to start. The mystery behind the "right way" to prime a carto...the first time you saw someone with a Provari, and laughed at how huge it was! Or the first pipe-bomb, aka mech, you ever saw.
There is a whole world of vapers out there who will never know anything more inferior than a Triton Clapton coil. They never knew the non-punched carto. Or the bridge-less "steel wool" atomizer.
Nope.
They have "grown up" on the coat-tails of the Nautilus explosion!

-------
I'm just trying to go out on a limb here, and extend an offer...no...more of a challenge.
I CHALLENGE every one of you high & mighty elitist vapers to stop judging, and start EMPOWERING.
Stop flaming, and start congratulating.
Stop insulting. Start CONsulting.
Educate, don't discriminate.
If what you know and use is SOOOOO superior, then help a newbie. Don't fling poo at some other experienced vaper.

It's no wonder the government Hoo-ha's are having such an easy go at shutting us down. We are imploding our foundations, for no other reason than to put each other down because Joe likes high VG, but John likes restricted draw.

We all talk a good talk when it comes to advocating and voting and petitioning.
But vaping is TRULY going to save itself from within.
So get to it.
Cut it with the lazy keyboard banter.
Go teach some sh|t.
I can't tell you how easy it is to get non-smokers/non-vapers to take our side in these matters.
They may not 100% agree with "what we do", but they 100% hate smokers. And their votes count.
Let's represent our "culture" in a good light, no matter what forum or public space we are in.
Just be about it.
Don't talk about it.
Just make it happen.
Just shut your mouths, and save our industry.

Rant over.

$150 is for the V4 they weren't referring to the Mini. If the new Mini is around $100 I'm sure it will sell just fine. People still pay $100 for a Mini 2.1.

The mini won't be selling for $150, it'll be approximately $100, that comes from the head of SM marketing.

My absolute favorite atty is the Silverplay Nano with the Bell cap not the glass tank.

The glass tank has just as many issues as the GMini.

The acrylic Bell cap is where the magic happens.

Screw the solid chimney into the Bell cap tightly. I was willing to super glue the threads but was not necessary.

The Silverplay uses standard drip tips BTW.

With the chimney screwed tightly into the Bell cap I can pull the build deck without dumping the juice. I can bottom fill without a tool.

The flavor is so close to the GMini I can't determine which is better so in my review I called the flavor between the two a coin flip.

I REALLY prefer a single coil instead of dual. I tamped small bits of cotton into the unused juice wells and saturated it with juice. My cotton plugs hold to the base until I can screw the base down. I have never had the Silverplay Nano flood on me.

Also another very good thing if your silicone ring gets chewed up and it starts leaking throw the silicone ring away, and take the O ring from a Kayfun or Orchid base and put the O ring in the channel. It's a perfect fit. Screw the base down and go on vaping. The O ring will not let the juice leak out.

I have three Silverplay Nanos in a drawer for the vapeapocolypse.

The only problem they didn't fix in the GMini was airflow directly under the coils.

They introduced one problem. There is no airflow Control. I prefer lung hits so is not a problem for me.

You just woke my rant up.

This new crop of Vaper who want to get the last Nano watt out of their 200 watt mod, or that want to build to the lowest resistance possible, or they want the lowest build possible on a mech mod with crappy efest or flashlight batteries.

These moronic cloud chasers are accidents waiting for a place to happen. When one of these ...... turn a battery into a pipe bomb the news media takes it and runs with it, and the prostitutes called legislators have a new arrow in their quiver of ways to destroy vaping!

Vaping has been a God send to those of us who wanted to kick their nicotine addiction to the curb.

I lay this latest crop of vapers at the feet of the reviewers who blow clouds on YouTube, and the vape shops who build ultra low builds for customers WHEN THEY SHOULD BE EDUCATING THESE NEW VAPERS ON BATTERY SAFETY!

I say we vapers need to regulate ourselves before the jack boot of government regulation destroys vaping FOREVER!

going back to my corner now.
