sweet flavors tasting nasty

After a while, some of my sweet flavors are tasting strange. The strawberry lemonade from happyesmoker tastes great at first, but starts to taste like a dirty sock after about 10 puffs. Same thing with wordupecigs teaberry. I have never had this problem with tobacco or menthol flavors. What goes into these to sweeten them? Maybe that's the problem. I get the same result with clearos and cartos on standard ego.

Anyone else experience this?

Have you been using the same cartos/clearos for sometime? I notice a decrease, or change in flavor when I use the same carto for too long.

Have you tried direct dripping onto an atomizer?

Yeah, I've tried new and old clearos and cartos. Not a big fan of direct drip since I am away from the house most of the day. It is strange that it is only the sweet flavors.

It could be you then. It takes a while for you taste buds to rebuild.

I'm not sure that is the case. Not sure why, it just doesn't seem right. Just a feeling I guess. Oh well, I like some tobacco flavors that I've tried so I will probably just not experiment with sweet flavors anymore. Right now, I have been vaping a Camel flavor and Jeff's Mix from Wordup and am enjoying both.

That's me. They're nice for a change of pace, maybe to cleanse the palette, but 10 or 15 minutes and I'm done with them.

I think for most people this is True.

If some people keep Tasting Sweet, their receptors just Turn Off. Many people say that if they get away from a Sweet taste for awhile or Eat Something, that the Sweet Taste will come back.

I'd like to know more about what type of Hardware the OP is using.

Sounds like Maybe a Carto/Atty Wicking Issue for the OP more than a Taste Bud Issue.

I am vaping Dragon's Blood at the moment, which is fairly sweet. I also keep a basic menthol juice and a few less sweet flavors on hand. Switching up from the sweet stuff on occassion will allow my taste buds to recover and my DB tastes good again. I would suggest keeping a few different types of flavors around for when this comes up. Switch it up for a while and then go back.

Rick, I have a heckuva time "tasting" chocolate, too. The best I've found are Highbrow Vapor's Tiramisu, and Halo's Belgian Cocoa.

Cheers buddy I'll seek em out n' give 'em a go, in reply to my recipe, it' dare I say it

TW Titanium ice (72mg/ml) PG - 0.5ml
TW Titanium Ice (72mg/ml) VG - 0.2ml
PG - 0.85ml
VG - 0.2ml VG
TW Gold standard chocolate flavor - 0.4ml

All my liquid is mixed to this recipe, it gives 24mg/ml ejuice.

I'm early in my mixing journey at the mo and have literally used the mixing guide for drop quantities then used a syringe to calculate the amounts.

I've read that vg/pg mix is a good idea for vapor vs throat hit so I adjust accordingly, give a vape I'm happy with but if anyone wants to advise me I'm more than open to suggestion.

IMO the TFA/TPA chocolate (clear) is good @ 3-4%
