Sucralose is used by one of my favorite vendors, but If I am not mistaken, that is the main ingredient of splenda. real sugar would be a real mess. good luck to you.
Ethyl Maltol diluted and dissolved in PG. Use a 1:10 ratio of Ethyl Maltol to PG. The Flavor Apprentice sells a Cotton Candy flavoring which is basically just that. I've used it to sweeten quite a bit of liquids, and it can smooth out some flavors that have a lot of bite, like Green Apple.
Thanks for all of the help. If anybody else has any other ideas, I'm open to hear them. I may even wind up trying the sucralose...I just know that aspertame and I DO NOT get along (sends me into a deep spiraling depression) and as a result I try very hard to avoid all sugar subs....but given this application...well....it just may not be possible.
