I thought I would share some of my pics I took yesterday too. I got this one to match my guitar Zebrawood & Rosewood. The pictures dont do it justice at all.
Brad you make a very fine mod my friend.

ive been thinking about it and the UFS is quite a bit longer than the Ody. Do you think that will cause any problems? the problem with all the BA options you have is making a decision
Have to say I'm super excited, ordered my Mini drip Grip today, Purpleheart w/ Bubinga trim, now the wait begins. This will be my first wood mod and probably not my last.![]()
I honestly don't know how much you have to fear, but I don't think I would ever put my grip to the test once I get it. The joints look really good, you don't see any glue out there, which probably means he actually knows how much glue he needs to useToo much glue and the joint is just as weak as if you used none.....
I did cabinet work and furniture restoration. The reason I want a grip is because Brad is an artisan whether he likes to call himself one or not. The time he takes to match up his graining, the precision his joints are, honestly he does some really impressive woodwork. So hey I could knock out a wood mod of my own, but it wouldn't be the artistry of Brad's it maybe cool but it won't be a Sweet Vape.
I like how he takes real pride in his craftsmanship.

I dropped my old GRIP Reaper one time on the asphalt parking lot. I cringed as I just knew it was ruined, scratched, broke, you name it. Picked it up and not a scratch. Tough son of a gun! Now I don't recommend doing it, but wood mods, or should I say finely crafted wood mods like Brad makes are not weaklings!
Now to find a good name for my new one. Any suggestions GRIPville?
