Hey folks. I finally started work on a mini tin mod I've been planning for awhile, but I ran into a small hiccup. I was going to use one of the ego_t board switches from fast tech (I've seen them on eBay too) but I had two problems. I couldn't figure out what to use to put over the clicky switch part, and I was just going to use it as is, which seems like a bad idea now that I think about it more. Also, I got some super glue on it so it's no longer functional.
I'm thinking about just getting a regular switch. Probably a 6x6mm tactile because I don't have much room to work with.
Is this a good idea or bad idea? I don't want to pay a ton for shipping so I'll probably wait forever and order 100 directly from China for a dollar or two. Have any of you used them? How long should the button be? Does 6x6x7mm sound about right?
