Guess it might help to state what type of mod I was looking at using this switch for. I have been daydreaming about building a 5v mod using 2 18650 batteries in parallel with a 4050 booster chip to get to 5v. I have been looking at different exotic woods to make the box out of and would like a very nice switch instead of the ones I have been using for my other mods, ie: horn style and mini switches. Thank you for your reply java. With my lack of knowledge on woodworking this mod will take me quite awhile to do since I will have to research on how to even build the box. Price doesn't bother me since I want a beautiful mod when I am finished. Leaning towards using an Amboyna Burl or an Amazon Rosewood right now, just need to see how well either of those would work for this application.

Here is the PV3 it is the same thing as the one in your link or pretty close i would sayPV3 series anti-vandal switches | vandal and water resistant | Illuminated | www.e-switch.com. PV3 is a one and a half inches long and the PV6 is just over 3/4 of a inch long. The PV6 is what i have for my mod that i am building right now. They even have a distributor stock check on them. I haven't put mine in a mod yet but the action on it is sweet. These are quality made switches.

Good luck with that mod, just take your time with it. What might help is getting all your parts and putting them on a blank piece of paper and make a blue print of sorts to exact size. Then you know it will all fit in the box when you get it made.

So here is what I am looking at to build this mod, my parts list:
SXR101M035ST Cornell Dubilier Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - Leaded
PV6F240SS-331 E-Switch Pushbutton Switches
CCF07220RJKE36 Vishay/Dale Metal Film Resistors
http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/ptn04050c.html

Questions, am I missing anything here? I will not be putting in a master on/off switch and the 220ohm resistor is for the LED that is in the switch. Are the capacitors the proper ones for this build or is there a different volt size that I should use?
