The same two wires going through the tact go through the vandal. Unless, you are looking at a dna, it had extra connections fit an external switch. If the tact is on a circuit board, you Will need to add some wires at the solder points.
Sorry for not getting back to your pm hac, sometimes I see them at times it isn't good to reply and then forget. For a vmax you will have to add some wires where the tact is attached.
My digital memory works better than my biological LOL. Worth noting, the tact has 4 legs and two are doing the switching, like Tru pointed out, and the other two provide mechanical support for the switch. In the pic it looks like the lower pad is solid and the upper is split and does the switching, but it would be good to doublecheck the tact with a multimeter set to resistance to be exactly sure.
