Great and deserved gesture Switched xoxo. Isaac is a special man. But you:

I first encountered the grumpy old bear during a slight dust up he was having ... I was brand new and wondered if he was just a cantankerous, old , knowledgeable coot .. Well, I read through tons of his posts and discovered what a great man he is. He's constantly searching for the TRUTH and shares what he finds -- enough said.

If you're new: First you've found a great sub. Second, if you want any level of education on vaping follow Switches posts. He and the threads he's participated in will enlighten you.

What a way to get introduced to the forums eh? yes I remember that day, it was the same day I suspended all activity in that sub, and in the process they lost a customer.

This is Isaac's boxmod's brother.

You all know how I love my eGo, well here's an eGo with a good size engine under the hood. I have been vaping this for close to a week and waited until Isaac received his so I wouldn't leak any hints.

Nothing fancy just straight performance. It is the same size as Isaac's 3.5 x 2 x 1 inch.

Another very nice mod Switched. I love wood and Make mine wooden also. That looks like Golden Oak. You are a master. Great mod.

Thanks Tina. I have yet to make an atty. There has been leaps and bounds done in that category as well. I like the replacement coil version a la plug and play.

I sure wish I still had my combo lathe/miller, to improve on some great ideas that are bouncing around out there. ScubabatDan comes to mind. He has the ability with his small machine shop to compact a lot of ideas and integrate most of them into pill fobs.

Prior to building both the BeGo and WeGo, my intention was to use 2 x 18650s in parallel. Using appropriate switches in these devices (3A) makes it near impossible to keep things small, the Tekkeon mod is the closest wrt compactness, but that one is way over my head (soldering skills and eyesight), but without retrofitting and reinforcing the top plate, incapable of accepting the eGo connector, which is what I was after for a long time. I just needed a battery to die LOL. The Achilles heel of the Tekkeon mod is its top plate.

Working with wood for solidity, an extra 1/2 is required on the overall length and width.

Both boxes are milled from the same piece of Paduk. Isaac's finish is natural Danish oil, while mine is dark walnut. Paduk comes in a variety of shades (I prefer the orangy shade) and it does shine through finishes that are not opaque to to speak.

I am truly amazed! Iken, Switched, those videos nearly had me in tears! The brotherly love in your first vid, Iken is heartwarming. I couldn't be happier to have found a community that supports itself and gives back to itself in such an amazingly selfless manner. Switched, the obvious care and love that went into that mod is really a sight to see. Grumpy old bear or not, you are a man among men.

This has been an extremely difficult thread for me as well emotionally. I never thought I would reach out and touch someone as I did, nor would I touch so many.

Isaac has given himself so selflessly to the community, I couldn't see myself sending him a standard triple A 5V mod, it needed to show my appreciation towards what he has done and continues to do for us. I never expected nor intended to move him the way I did nor the community for that matter. For someone who never seems to struggle for words, I am truly speechless. Thank you...

Wow! What a glorious thread this has become, in dedication for a glorious man. The spot light is definitely on you my friend and it can't be anymore deserving. From continuously helping out the community with your enlightenments of safety to building creations and teach how it's made, to even building one with your heart for a fellow friend. All of these acts mentioned are not as easy as they sound as you can see how much time you really devote, it's just phenomenal. It really is and I can't thank you enough for every minute of it. to you Switcher.
