I went from 2-3 years of vaping using 2ohm double punched dc cartos on a Volcano VV Lavatube 2.0 to a couple days ago buying a Sigelei 20w Legend VW, and 3ohm heads for a ml PBC and a 5ml Trohpy V2. The Lavatube I used at 4-5 volts. On the VW I used 8-12.1 watts, no problem. With the 3ohm heads at 4.8 watts, I still get dry hits, a different vaping experience. I love the idea of these tanks, but changing vaping styles is weird. Any advice on how to hit the new tanks and get a good hit with good vapor and not dry hits? (I did drip on the wick, I've been through 4 heads and something is wrong) t/y in advance

I have both cartos and bottom coils. I think, for quality of vape flavor, the cartos are a small step up. But, not as convenient (for me).

For the bottom coils, I don't get dry hits. I sit the filled tank upside-right for a few minutes. I am a slower draw person. I think that helps the wicks to stay moist with juice. Someone told me that a draw should be 6 seconds. That is pretty slow.

I have the same tanks, too. I don't think the ohm level is related to keeping the wick wet.

I agree with you. I'm a heavy vaper, long slow draws. I guess I'll also use both. Cartos are hard to beat. Thanks for your input.
