hi everyone i am getting the ecig for my birthday and would like to know the best to start with. im a pack every 2 dayer and the habit is really holding it not hitting it all the time they burn out. i do like the nicotine though but dont want the harmful cig effects anymore, im 39 and cant breathe already. i usually smoke menthol and would mind flavors either. my question is does the atomizer built in really make a difference and what model should i go with i would like to spend no more then 70 or so dollars. i seen some things on vk but just cant make up my mind. i know i can reuse the cartomizers a few times and i watched videos of refilling. but anyone got anyadvice on the ones with the good throat hit and vapor and do they really last the ecig itself. thank you so much and advice would be appreciated. vicki

gonna get a lot of opinions of course, but you can't go wrong with the 510, i like the manual batt. look in the fs thread, i think there's a few sets there for like $50. i have a few pv's, but my go to is the 510 for dependability and satisfaction. whatever you get, don't forget a few extra atomizers. best of luck and keep us posted.

Howdy and Welcome Aboard!

You're going to get lots of different responses here as to which model e-cig to get but one of the most popular models is the Joye 510 and the best deal is at Cignot.com. There you can get the no-box starter kit for $35.00 and probably get a couple of bottles of e-juice to keep you going for a while. They have some really good menthol flavors available there too. I would recommend the manual batteries too.

I currently use that exact same 510 but my very first PV (Personal Vaporizer) was a KR808D-1 model and that helped me quit analogs (cigs) immediately and I haven't looked back. This is also a very popular model too.

The very best thing you can do right now is grab a hot or cold beverage of your choice and read, read and read some more here about the different models and exactly how they work. You won't be disappointed.

Good Luck!

Was 2+ pack of marlboro light 100's a days smoker, close to 7 cartons a month/50 bucks a carton that's 350bucks a month, Since i bought my cloud9 kit with 55 cartiage, just buy 250ml bottle of marlboro extra strenght juice for 100 bucks ( from myvaporstore) which should last close to a year.

BTW cloud9 is an excellent product and customer service rockz
Got starter kits at 49.99

It's a good idea to get extra atomizers whatever model you decide on. You can never have too many attys and running out is terrible. Also a few extra batteries will help you always have one charged up and ready. I wouldn't spend a bunch until you have found the model that fits you the best. We all have different wants and needs out of our PV, I guess that's why there are so many to choose from.

I'm really enjoying my 510 as well. I'm waiting on my vapor king to come as well. I got them for different reasons. I love vapor. It's my favorite part of smoking analogs...except I didn't like it getting in my eyes or the smell.

510 is good for vapor...but short battery life....

vapor king is good for vapor...and flavor and has better battery life. From what I saw from review videos on both...the vapor king produces a bit less vapor than the 510.

I spend much time on the PC and the USB PT removes the need for battery worries (inside at least) - tho I actually got a USB/AC plug now so I dont have to be chained to the PC to use it :) I have a 510 which i love, but even though i get decent battery life I can see that if I was out for a LONG time it would irritate me, You can get bigger bats tho - so many types of PV on the market - I'd go thru as many posts on the 'Approved ECF suppliers' forums to check them all out - its worth putting in the time to research because while it can start off cheaply it doesn't end up that way (sooo many good juices, sooo little time lol)

I have both the 901 and 510. I think both are really good ecigs. I prefer the longer 510 battery that you can get from Totally Wicked as it last a lot longer. However, I go through the 510 atomizers in about 2 weeks but they produce a little more vapour. the 901 atomizers seem to last longer. I've been a smoker for 45 years and have switched to ECigs without much of a problem. I do plan on purchasing a mod, probably the BB or Silver Bullet in the next couple of days. I'm hoping to get a little more throat hit so it more resembles that of a cigarette. It's been a miracle for me - nothing else worked. Good luck!
