Swollen O-Ring on my Odysseus

Hey all,

Sorry if this is redundant, but I have noticed that the 9x2 o-ring than goes underneath the mouthpiece nut on my Odysseus has begun to swell up a bit. Its hard to remove, before it slid out very easily. Has this happened to anyone else? I am a bit curious as it did not start to happen until after I used some juice with cinnamon flavoring. Has anyone found a similar O-ring in any hardware stores? Should I just pre-order an Ody oring kit?

Sounds like you may be over tightening it Clint. Change it out

Clint - If you have a Halls Hardware or Ace Hardware they may have an 9x2 o-ring, on the advance order $5 for a complete set is not bad

Kalrez , Vinton or PTFE orings are what you should be looking at , these are some of the most chemically resistant . Do some reading
