Ok so after many pics of people posting their fancy new sx350 box mod I decided to make my own.
So I'm going to use these parts:
Box: hammond 1590G - Going for single 18650
Wires: 22 awg - Is that enough? or do I need 20 awg?
Switches: Tactile Switch with Round Actuator 300g for DNA 20 D Evolv Pushbutton | eBay two of those for + -, 1 x 16mm Car Waterproof Push Button High Flush Reactable Screw Terminals | eBay for fire, Looks good?
510: Fatdaddy vapes springloaded one, if I can get one the 26th, Other suggestions?
Epoxy: Multibond Epoxy E Fix Adhesive for Metal Wood Glass Ceramic Cement Fiber 100ml | eBay - Couldn't find any in my town (I live in a small town) so I why not go on ebay?
Battery sled: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1290005 - Good enough? Other suggestions?
So when installing the sx350 and after drilling all the holes and cutting out the screen, Do I put epoxy around the cut out of the screen and then firmly press it into place and let that dry? I've never used epoxy for electronics so much of this is new.
And if there's anything I need to know before doing this please let me know since I'm not an expert.
EDIT: Since the hammond 1590g is made of aluminium I wonder how do I stop the sx350 from shorting out when mounting the screen etc?
