They're pretty cool, they're wild but I've been feeding them on my doorstep for the last 20 years, a lot of them have grown in the pouch with me hand feeding their mums so they"tolerate" me quite well...

Capybaras (called carpinchos here) also run wild although they're more water fellas. They also love people!

Nope,no Exocet from me haha.If i remember right,i think all i had at that time was the Vapeshell and some coil heads.I didn't get the Exocet until i decided i really wanted a BB again, and bought that deal on the other site,it had an Exocet with it,so that was my first one of those.
I just got that tool from them a few days ago,it seems pretty nice to have.I took it out of the package, looked at it,then stuck it in my supply box,and will probably never use it haha, but it is nice to have.My last 3F package,i used the 50 cent shipping option and got it in like 8-9 days, they usually do a good job with their shipping.
I can't seem to wick it right. It floods on me, I ordered some thicker cotton. I use 2.5 mm coils.

Which one,the Exocet?I had a few problems at first with it,i kept getting dry hits,so i thinned the tails, then got flooding and leaking haha.I finally got it decent after the third try,if i take a draw and wait a minute or so,it would be good, but if i hit it twice to close together,i would still get a fairly dry hit. Then i started using the premade Kanger heads and gave up on the Exocet haha.

The 70 watt Ares version isn't terrible from what I hear, but also not even close to the DNA 60, also from what I hear.

IMHO, the DNA 60 is a good choice for the BB. I'm very happy with it.
My gold one is the 70 watt version, because by the time i decided i wanted another one, everybody was sold out of the Dna 60 versions.Honestly,my 70 isn't bad at all.It seems to read resistance pretty close,at least on mine,i have heard of others having issues. The only real thing i've noticed is i have to bump the watts up a little to get the same vape as i get from my 60.If i run a coil at 40 watts in the 60,i have to bump it to 46 in the 70 to get the same results from it.I can't speak as to how the 70 is in temp control,as i don't use it,but i highly doubt that would be anywhere near what the Dna does.
I'm definitely ordering one of those orange Dna 60 versions though,i love that color, and thought they were long gone,so glad to see SXK is doing another run of them.

Are you using Stainless Steel in wattage mode on the 70? If so it probably doesn't account for the resistance change as the coil heats. (As the DNA does)

Bought my first clone after buying my first original. Having a USB port makes the difference. But, sincerely, if it weren't for the price of course I'd much prefer the original. Differences in machining are minute. I scanned mine onto a CAD program and the differences are nothing, really.
What I've seen is that when the box heats up, doors start rattling on the clone. Anybody experienced that?
I have not noticed that myself.

The only things I did notice was, before I loosened up the contacts, if I didn't have the battery ribbon in exactly the right spot, the panel would sit just a hair off and wobble some. Also, if the boro is not all the way in, even if I just put a piece of paper towel behind it, same thing. Neither one of those is an issue anymore though.

I think it's interesting that @Susaz did the cad scan thing and found virtually no differences. I have been pretty sure that that's how the clone outfits have been getting the plans for their warez.

Whelp. I've decided (almost) to go for the SXK dna, instead of authentic. Although it's still a hard decision spending that much on clones from FT. It's a total of $275 AU for a bb, extra boro, xeta, clear doors, and a button. With DHL because I can't handle those postage times. Just the authentic bb is almost $500 AU shipped, without anything else.

My main concern is reliability and durability/quality. I'm sure it'll work, and everyone says it's perfectly good.

The reason it's a hard choice and why I was considering the authentic is I'm a minimal device kind of guy. I have one big mod, and one pod for stealth and high nic. This would be my big mod if all goes well. I'm not too interested in buying several down the road, I've done that with other attys etc and they don't get used. I only want to buy the one bb and have some spare parts and tanks. And have the one for as long as possible and not have it break easy. Being a clone this may or may not happen. It may or may not happen with the authentic too. But I feel the authentic would be just that little bit better. But MONEY.

I'm thinking about this too much, I know.

On the Xeta the air disc with the 4 holes was way too restrictive for me and I didn't think too much good about the 4 mm hole with no disc installed so I drilled out the 0.8 mm one to 3.2 mm and am liking the results. I'm not noticing any difference in restriction compared to 4 mm but flavor is increased.
I wasn't sure how I was going to secure the disc while drilling but figured it out.

No,i haven't tried SS in that one yet.Only thing i've used in it so far is a Kanger head,i think it's nichrome.Once that head goes bad i'll be putting the insider in it with a ss coil though,so interested to see how it handles that wire.
