I've only had a few defective things from FT over the years and never had to send anything back to them. It's a fight to get a refund but stick to your guns as they will offer $2 off your next order etc. Takes a bit of back and forth messages to get satisfaction, took almost a month to get a refund on a defective rda once.

Ok it's confirmed - GLXD & TRVPPED buttons and internals from BB vapes/E-cigarettes .CA INC for my Bantam are going to take up to 12 weeks to arrive! 30 Canadian dollars for shipping and they chuck it on a boat.
The guy from the shop was great - when I told him my order was shipped on Sept 1st and Canada Post had no updated tracking info he sent me a replacement order without me asking.
Then this morning I got on a live chat with Canada Post and they told me 12 weeks for surface mail was normal. So maybe by Xmas I'll have 2 for the price of one...
I reckon Charlie was right - Canada Post may be slow but they get there eventually:cool:

I got my YFTK Xeta today too. A guy at another site asked me about it.

How you liking the xeta?
Superb. Stupid easy to build on and great flavor. I was shooting for tight mtl, but I should have used the single hole smallest insert. (used the one with 2 tiny holes, the next one up) Still great, but I need to twist some 30 ga. next time instead of 28 to bring the resistance up some and use the tighter insert. It's still tight, but not as tight as I wanted it. With no inserts in the chimney, under the deck or on the 510, wide open, it's about like the Big Baby Beast. Slightly restricted dtl.

The airflow options are endless.

The build quality on this YFTK clone is practically flawless. I had it under a lighted strong magnifying glass for a few minutes and all the pieces are clean as can be. Threads are smooth, o-ring tolerances perfect. Not a drop of leaking on my first build. (3mm, 5 wraps, 28 ga twisted Ti1, juice flow open) There's other bridges I've liked alot, but this one has to be the best imho.

EDIT: I've heard talk about how it's a glorified Exocet. Similar design concept maybe, but taken miles further. The post design is also 100 times better.

I've been reading through this thread and only made it to page 48 so sorry if this has been covered already...

Does anyone know what this tool is used for?
DIY Coil Tool for BB
You are able to add a standard 510 on top of the BB. Check resistance, put an atty on top if you want , dry burn coils etc. Basically it extends the positive pin to the outside of the BB as I understand it. I don't own one so maybe there are more uses I've missed.

Thanks. I was hoping that's what it was for. Useful to do a dry burn on exocet, etc without using another mod.

Anyways, great thread and the good news... looks like my sxk bb 60w in orange is ready to ship, along with a xeta, spare tanks and a few items. My first BB so getting excited. Thought I'd test the waters on the SXK before springing for the OG.

cheers

I actually planned to get the YFTK, but only after I bought it I saw that I got the SXK.
I'm not going to change the order though as both seems to be equally good.
I don't think you can go wrong with either one.I haven't got my YFTK version yet,but i have only heard good things on it,and my SXK is very nice,no complaints i've heard on that one either.

Anyone have a similar issue...
I have 2 SXK Exocets. One I have had for a few months and installed a few coils with no issues. The other I just rec'd. Tried to install 2 different 26g kanthal coils, but the screw will not trap the wire: it just gets pushed out to the side, no matter how I try to keep it under the screws. I may have used 28g in the first coils that worked well. Both 26 and 28g coils are single wire coils.
Is there an issue with 26g on this deck, or maybe some issue with the screws/ deck on this Exocet?

i'd have thought it would be better with 26 as far as the screws go. think i've got an mtl clapton in mine and didn't have any issues. hope you get it sorted.

Well,my gold 70 watt almost made it a month haha.It started auto firing yesterday,so i pulled it apart, and found 1 microscopic drop of juice inside where the board is,so wiped that out,put it back together and it worked fine the rest of the night.Came home from work today, picked it up and nothing.Took the battery out,put it back in,and instant auto fire.
I planned from the start to replace the board with a Dna 60 at some point, but i really didn't think it would be less than a month after getting it.
On a brighter note though,my orange one with the Dna 60 is ready to ship woohoo haha.

I had this exact same issue with my Exocet. What I had to do was wrap the coil leg around the back of the screw to get it to catch. Then I went and got some screws from a local fastener supplier with a square head instead of those idiotic rounded ones they give you. (whose boneheaded idea was that? :D )

I'll change them out when I change the coils next.
