My SXK Xeta started to jump resistance a little, so I inspected. Pooped. Guess I was too hard on the clamps. Lesson learnt.

The Kanger rba saved the day. First time using it. Rather annoying having no 510 to screw on to a mod, but managed. It works but less flavour and terrible airflow compared to the Xeta, terrible airflow for my style of vape. The Xeta was superb from the first build, the kanger will take a lot of dialling in.

The long wait for another Xeta, or 2 for backup.

Back in my sub tank mini days I would drill out the bottom rba holes and it helped a little. Apparently my Xeta is on the really really slow boat. It’s usually the threads that go poop.

Have to be careful when tightening the Xeta. It's a known issue.

If you got the sxk bb / bantam it comes with a little Adapter for that. Unscrew bottom bit around pin on kanger rba, then the adaptor threads on and 510 ready to go.

It is just with the Bantam unless something changed.

Just to show I'm not exaggerating, here's a crude video of me opening and sealing the new SXK translucent boro I got recently. After swapping in the black gasket, which worked on the first try though the stock red one was just like this too. Doesn't leak a drop. I wish I knew for sure they were all like this now.

I'd say they are still hit or miss.I got an A-tank that will slide super easy like that, then a standard boro tank that was just a bit tighter, but still movable with 1 finger, then the one that came in my orange mod is fairly tight, and that is the newest one i have,so they still seem to be all over the place.I don't have any of the clear ones though,so can't say there.

Got my most recent 3F order today,i got another YFTK Xeta, and a set of clear panels that i'm going to turn into a set of gloss black panels since nobody seems to sell glossy black haha.
I remember a while back someone posting that their YFTK Xeta had came with a spare positive post.At the time,i figured maybe it was a mistake and had accidentally been dropped in there or something, but i have to give YFTK a big thumbs up,apparently they must be adding that in as a spare now, very good to have a spare, and it also convinced me to seal them in as the go to when i buy 2 more Xeta's here soon.

I just ordered (16th) another ytfk from 3fvape for that very reason. My other 2 came from FT but no spare post.

Also just "won" on the OG Xeta list 6 just so I could get the mtl kit. I think the product is good enough that the creator deserves it but mainly I'm selfish and want the mtl accessories. I think it comes with a beefier positive in the kit.

On these clear/ultem and black sleeves that are offered on the OG and now by FT... are we missing something?

Seems to me that they work because the negative post contacts the topcap. I was checking mine out today doing a rewick, although I have the stainless sleeve so it's hard to tell but that tolerance is so slight, it may be touching. If so, wouldn't that work to complete the circuit, instead of the sleeve itself? I don't see any other way they can work.

As long as the negative post is taller than the positive post. It's not going to work if it touches the positive post. I'll have to check mine next time I have it apart.

I was just wondering earlier if the ones from FT would have that extra post,i have one in my cart there that i was going to order along with the purple mod,but if theirs doesn't have the spare post,i'll just get another from 3F then,it's nice to have that spare.
On those sleeves,i've thought the same.I know there were some posts about no way they would work, but i have seen several people on Haku's FB using them,so i started really looking at the pics up close, and like you,i believe the negative post just barely touches the top cap.I just looked at the base on the Xeta i got today, and the negative post is very slightly taller than the positive post,so it's likely that it can make contact without touching the positive.

Birds of a feather flock together....me too.
I wanted to put a coil with a couple more wraps in that one anyway.
