Well, I didn't need another tank, but I just ordered this puppy lol

Everyone sends to love it so much!

It was my first rta and has absolutely spoilt me for liking other RTAs - so far none have matched up to the doggy :thumb:

They didn't specify in the eBay description, but it looks like a 2k16. I'm used to bottom filling Berserkers anyway lol
I have the Berserker and the 2K16 Doggy and bottom filling is nice and easy but the newer 2K18 Doggy is supposed to have a top fill cap with liquid control for refilling. I ordered one on the 20th of November and I'm just waiting on it to see how it works. Any day now... I've been saying that for days now...

Yeah I saw that. I like the top fill a lot, but I'm not so sure about juice flow control. Reminds me of Kayfuns, which I think are really over designed

I agree with you about the Kayfuns. I quit those at the V4's. I only hope the 2K18 Doggies will work well.

For those using kanthal, are you using 2 or 2.5 diameter wraps?

I used 2 mm ID, 28 ga. 6 wraps put me at 1 ohm. My normal go to in my other tanks is 2.5 mm ID, 30 kanthal, 5 wraps. That puts me at 1.6 ohms. After experimenting with different builds, the Doggy worked better (for me) with the 1 ohm coil. The 2 mm ID also meant I didn't need to thin the tails, to fit the juice channels.

Might have to experiment a little.

Wow! I won the Ehpro True MTL RTA from Heaven Gifts a couple of weeks ago, and just rec'd it. I'm a Doggy lover, thru and thru, for maybe a year, and it's basically all I've been using.

But I just built this thing (same as I do doggy- 316ss 28ga/7 wraps/2.0 id), and it's pretty freakin' awesome. I was kind of surprised because the dome looked a little bigger. This might even be a better vape. So far, I think it is.

About the size of the Doggy, builds & wicks almost exactly the same way, only a little easier because it has wire-trapping (& phillips head screws). And it has top fill, and a truly adjustable air flow (yeah, I know, but doggy's not very easily adjustable- not that it mattered to me). Gotta tell ya, I've only taken a dozen or so hits so far, but it's pretty dog-gone outstanding. I'll post pics & give an update after using a bit more, for those of you considering the 2K18 for the top fill. This one is absolutely worth a look. And without a doubt, the best win I've had here!

I've been seeing this one and my only concern was refilling. Will it leak while refilling??? Please let us know how it works when you refill it.

To be honest, it's been so long since I had to worry about it, I refilled without even thinking about adjusting closing afc, so I left it open on the largest hole. No problems. I don't know if I'll have other issues, but seriously- I'm loving the vape on this thing. Really is better than the doggy or Dvarw, so far. Even the doggy took a few days to a week to really take over my Kayfun Mini V3 in liking the vape. But the doggy has been so totally and incredibly issue free for so long, I'm just waiting to see if I have any flooding, leaking, gurgling, or other issues before I really decide. Time will tell.

Sounds great! I'm jealous now. I have to get one now. Christmas is coming and I always get something new...

I've ordered one that should be here tomorrow @Brewdawg1181. I've had my eye on it for a while and your comments finally swayed me. I'm not really interested in top fill as I change wicks each tankful more often than not, but the deck and AFC improvements might be what I was hoping to see in the 2k18.

Fingers crossed and thanks for the heads up.

I use 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0. All work fine for me, and I can't tell any difference. I use cotton exclusively.

I still like the older V2+L ones, but the later versions lost me (starting with the Mini thing).

I still don't understand if it has juice flow control or not. I guess I will have to look it up. I was all rah rah about the topfill but frankly I need to change my rayon often enough (IDK what it is about that atomizer) I'm not 100% sure it is worth it.
