Just curious - Why not dry burn, wash and rewick? I think if gunk is the only problem then rebuild is a lot of extra work.

Maybe it’s some sort of OCD, but I like the “look” of a shiny new SS coil. When I dry burn one after a few days use, it’s kinda ugly.

The simple wire is so easy to build and install, I could literally do it with my eyes closed.

Unscrewing and removing vs taking the wick out usually means an easier (if any) cleaning of the deck. No juice going all over.

That’s only with my coil killers.

Much difference in airflow with the sjmy doggy? I prefer loose mtl and thought the sxk would be too tight. But with a 0.6 ohm build, airflow hole fully open and a high coil its spot on.

I like the SJMY for during the day, loose MTL or restricted DL. I use my SXK's at night with higher nicotine and MTL. There is a difference but it is not massive but noticeable. The SJMY is 2.3 mm airflow and the SXK is 1.6 mm when both are fully open.

I can't wait for mine. I am going to see how much of the house I can get glued together, like all the fire pokers to the mesh fireplace and etc. It was like five bucks. I mean, it saved me a screwdriver (or one of the husbands) and I plan for MUCH fun with it.

Heard about it on the shinyitis thread, seriously they can make you (and I am one of them) buy almost ANYTHING. LOL.

If you wear a mechanical watch, take it off and put it in a drawer before you go near the magnetizer/demagnetizer.

Good to know, but I don't wear a watch of any sort. They don't agree with me and all die.

I AM sort of wondering about credit cards is that still a thing? I mean, for me it's not (credit cards, heh) but you know, my bank card.

I really need to check man, I KNOW I ordered it.... I have prime too. Something must have gone wrong.

I plan to add it to all the things that have "gone wrong" today, mainly workers swarming our house and the 9K well replace the AC/Furnace etc. Although, it seems like whatever they encounter (ducts being dirty) well, my husband is talking them into doing it for free..

I want him to be my retail shopping assistant, man. He could haggle me a LOT of stuff... I am going to demand a magnetic screwdriver out of him at some point today. Seems simplest. I KNOW he has duplicates of MANY tools, despite his arguments otherwise. LOL.

I haven't been able to detect all that much difference but I appear to be in a minority.. I like them both.

Got my first sxk doggy yesterday (along with a five pack of acrylic tanks), and I'm loving it. But, I have a question for all you doggy gurus; I understand that the acrylic tanks are impact resistant, but what about stress resistant? I keep my "puffer" in my back pocket at work, but have to constantly crouch down to the bottom shelves for stuff. Will this put too much stress on the tank, especially on the threads? My jeans aren't tight, but not baggy either. Any insight on this would be appreciated.

Did I mention I like tiny things? (9v battery for scale)

@idahohermit The Doggy, as amazing as it is, has a few flaws and flimsy plastic threading is one of them. I have no idea if this will cause you an issue in the back pocket and I think the only way to find out will be to test run it. On the plus side I have several working Doggy's and not a single one has ever properly flooded/leaked. I've had a few gurgles from time to time, but that has always been down to sloppy wicking.

If the Doggy does let you down on the pocket stress test then I'd suggest trying the Coppervape Dvarw or Authentic Dvarw. Built as sturdy as a Kayfun with a strong metal body to take the strain and if it works keep the Doggy for evening treat vaping. The Dvarw MTL is a "simple" no thrills tank like the Doggy, has flavour not too far off the mark and is the "best of the rest" MTL tank IMO.

Cracking little setup you have there!

I can’t say about pocket carry but i have had two acrylic tanks in constant use for well over a year without a single problem.

I'm actually replacing an acrylic tank today as the threads seem to be worn (have a difficult time getting the deck screwed in) and have only been using this particular replacement for 4 or 5 months, maybe less. Can't really say why the threads went, however. The replacements are cheap enough, so I'm not too bothered. I guess there's a chance it's the deck itself, but I doubt it....

The Dvarw also has the option for all SS tank, so plastic version could be saved for evening and use the SS version for banging around.

Authentic in 3.5:
Dvarw MTL RTA 3,5ml – KHW mods
Dvarw MTL RTA 3,5ml stainless steel tube – KHW mods
Dvarw MTL RTA 1,0mm AFC insert – KHW mods

Coppervape clone:
$15.73 Coppervape Dvarw MTL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml / 316 stainless steel + PEI / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$1.80 Coppervape Replacement 316 Stainless Steel Tank for Dvarw MTL RTA Atomizer - 3.5ml at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$2.24 Coppervape 0.8mm + 1mm AFC Insert for Dvarw MTL RTA Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I linked the 3.5 version and the 1mm inserts because that is what I like. The 1.2 or larger insert may be to your liking and the 2mm tank makes it about the same size as the Doggy, so you will probably prefer that.
