I love wacky other country commercials .I seem to recall a TV special that went through a bunch. Culture just really shows. I don't remember too many French commercials in my youth when I lived there (I believe the parents were "anti" TV) but I do remember the Olympics one year... It was great, we all stayed up late watching them eating chocolate. I know this sounds like nothing, but eating FRENCH chocolate.

USA "confectionary" took some adjustment. LOL. I am building a SECOND doggy today I SWEAR. Heh.

Was on my desk all day again today. Right now, the (SXK) Doggy is the better vape of the two. While the Doggy has a tootle build, the Billet Box has an off the shelf Aspire 1.8ohm Nautilus coil in a Comfort Bridge. Still waiting on the slow boat for some more Doggys and parts.

My doggystyle finally arrived, but without a driptip. I got the sjmy one. Built a 26ga ss316l coil 2.5mm and ohmed out at 0.5.

Vaping now at 17.5W and its nice but flavour seems muted compared to my squonker.

Any tips?? Wicked just fine, bubbles after ever puff and no dry hits in 2 tanks.

Try different wicking material? ... Rayon may be best for flavor?

Can't believe your getting muted flavor on the Doggy, it's a flavor machine. I use Kanthal at 1 to 1.2 ohm at 15 watts wicked with Rayon.

I find 28 ga SS316 L with 7 wraps, 2 mm id, slightly spaced coming in around 0.60 ohms works best on all my doggies. Bottom of coil very slightly below the screw heads. Just my opinion but i found 2.5 mm had much less flavor. I also tried 26 ga but was not a fan. I use it in TC between 400F and 412 F.

Thought of one other thing ... A smaller bore drip tip would likely focus more vape/flavor across the tongue rather than the back of throat as a wide bore generally does.

As an aside, this week I received 2 SJMY Doggy's. One was acceptable build quality while the other was way out of whack with the AFC ring just about falling off and the center screw in the 510 connector stripped. I've found the build quality of SJMY inconsistent, to say the least. No issues with the 3 SXK Doggy's I have.

One was acceptable build quality while the other was way out of whack with the AFC ring just about falling off and the center screw in the 510 connector stripped. I've found the build quality of SJMY inconsistent, to say the least. No issues with the 3 SXK Doggy's I have.

^^^ Belay that ... I double checked. The two I got, came with little zip-lock bags of spare o-rings and screws and the bags were imprinted with "Steam Tribe". Same wide bore as the SJMY, maybe why I was temporarily confused. One was good and the other whacked. SKU 6617600

I run narda clone, 0.5 ohm ss 26 ga, tc mode 420F 18.5 W.

I have replaced my Kayfuns with Doggies and use Kanthal 1.2-1.4 ohms on regulated mods at 15w and a s/s 0.4 ohm on my mech. All at 2.5 mm i.d.

Yeah I nearly got that SKU for the price difference. Went for the sjmy SKU 6218200 instead. It's good to know which ones not to get.

+1 on Dub's recommendation for 2mm ID. It made a pretty big difference for me. I also do 28g 316L at 2mm, but I do 8 wraps at about .68 ohm. And I've tried 26 ga SS in every atty I've had, and it always gives me less "intensity" than 28ga. But I try it with every new atty, because I have a whole spool, and I'm a tightwad! Maybe I'll use it as picture hanging wire or something.
Oh, and it's a very small difference, but I do get a little more flavor with spaced coils, if you're not doing that.

Kolor me odd. I vape Kanthal coils in Power (power!) mode, and it seems no matter WHAT I throw on the Dogger, it just never fails. I find it flavor galore, and did I ever mention it does NOT LEAK?
