The M Class is bigger and heavier than the SXmini S Class
Nice...
The M Class is bigger and heavier than the SXmini S Class
I believe, not sure, that the fire button is the exact same size as the S class. Just using a quick Photoshop overlay of the two.
I'll be in for the M class... just traded my S class and, while it was an awesome mod, I'll be happy to put the M class in its place in my lineup.
It may just look different since the edges are more rounded..
EDIT: I don't know, it just kind of looks a little larger to me, but I can't trust my 52 year old eyes as much as I used to...![]()
I don't mind the new look personally but I see the appeal for the S class design. Definitely looks more "sophisticated" than the M class IMHO.
My problem with getting the S over the M is what I feel the future holds. I actually believe that temp control is the future and may even become a REGULATION to makers of devices. The studies are obviously under way but my gut tells me that research will reveal that there are in fact appropriate and healthier temperatures to vape at to minimize byproduct risks.
If such were the case, having a device that can already regulate temperature would be great.
John: Sure. Were controlling heat by controlling power (heat is power x time). Controlling heat with wattage control sets how much vapor youre getting and thats all it sets. What were doing with the temperature limitation, temperature protection, is were controlling whats in the vapor because, for example, you could have it set at 20 Watts, and if it wont wick, you get a real burnt taste and its terrible.
The watts directly set how much vapor you get. The temperature sets whats in the vapor, because at certain temperatures you start to get breakdown products. So were really trying to control those as two separate variables. With the DNA40, you could have a lot of vapor thats absolutely pristine and if for some reason you wanted a tiny amount of nasty vapor you could set that. We dont recommend it, but you could! This is really the breakthrough: we can say, Heres a ton of vapor: its not overheated, its not burning, its not funny tasting and it doesnt have weird chemicals. All other changes are either a usability improvement, or something which supports that overall goal.
John: Well, I have to keep my mouth shut because we have several ongoing projects, so obviously were not just working on this. What I will say is that we look at the e-cigarette as a separable problem. So, were attacking the vapor integrity in the DNA40, and really were doing this much earlier because we were kind of pushed into it by the FDA. We need to come up with a regulatory framework where we can guarantee that we know whats in the vapor stream, or were never going to see an approvable product. But, we see theres a finite number of things to solve before the e-cigarette is as good or better than a tobacco cigarette.
52? You look 30.
i will get a new one in the same color as my previous ones(silver)- that way the wife will never notice how many i have. devious but necessary.....

Interesting discussions going on looks like a 350J board swap in an S class is not going to happen sadly. I am still undecided on the whole temp protection and will have 2 clone DNA 40s with TP and 3 evolv DNA 40 to test if it is for me and not more vaping hype. The whole evolv DNA 40 fiasco has been unbelievable so many faulty boards I have had 6!
After owning some Hcigar products I just hope the product is good as no matter what vapers are saying about the problems being resolved after 4 months there are still numerous posts on bad evolv DNA 40 boards. The problems mostly occur with NI200.
I hope the HB DNA is good I decided against it as its not for me design wise and I am left handed to.
As much as I like the SX mini there is no way i am letting my SX350 mod go! Think its time to sell one of my SX minis with 30mins vape time![]()
