I have a Dunhill flavored e-juice, I believe I got it from myfreedomsmokes. It really does remind me of a Dunhill cigarette. For those that don't know what that would taste like, it's very similar to an American Spirit.

Totally Wicked's RY3 has a very nice tobacco flavor, it reminds me of a nice aromatic pipe tobacco. I prefer this to any RY4.

I am wanting a tobacco (either real or synthetic) that will light up my throat. The "sensation" in my throat and nose is huge. I am looking for something sort of sweet (maybe caramel or chocolate), but nothing extremely harsh. I have tried an RY4 and while it is sweet, it doesn't have the throat hit. I want something with both. My local vape store has a (homemade) juice that satisfies this, but I don't like buying from them.

I have the HALO tobacco sampler pack in the mail. I will give it a try first, but based on reviews, I don't know if any of them will have the "kick" I am looking for. Can anyone recommend anything? Again, looking for something sort of sweet but with a kick (looking more for a pipe tobacco and not a cig flavor).

Bounty Hunter from Nitelite Vapor http://www.pvliquids.com/

Just got my 130ml mini-jug in and enjoying it again immensely. Tobacco, vanilla and some snap, crackle, pop! goodness.

Maybe a Pipe Sauce called Oak Barrel Cider...? It's definitely a tobacco flavor, but, it's got the sweet (the apple), but it's not *too* sweet, like the vanillas and caramels... the throat hit is pretty good. The apple taste is RIGHT ON THE MONEY, you taste apples for hours after vaping it.

I would suggest this Virginia I love, it's just mildly sweet, but you said not so much a cigarette flavor; it's a dead ringer for VA Slims, but even at 6mg, the throat hit is AWESOME.

With the Halo stuff you will need to leave the cap off 24 hours before using it. Steeping and breathing really help their liquids.

I vaped all the way through my sampler of Halo Turkish Tobacco, but I'm finding it really irritates my sinuses (makes me sneeze). Has anyone else had this problem with it? It's a shame, because I absolutely love it, but I can't vape it if it's going to make me congested and snotty... :(

I haven't noticed anything. I used it to cut down Torque 56 though. So, I didn't get the full hit.

Man, I'm looking forward to trying the Bears. There was also new "simple" flavors last time I checked at a great price and one was straight tobacco, gonna try that too.

I've been thinking of trying that simple #1, I guess it's supposed to taste like Copenhagen, but I don't know what that tastes like. He just came out with a new one in the Simple line-it's a blueberry.

Copenhagen isn't a descripter that gets me excited about a juice lol, but I still want to try it.

Heads up: I have steeped V2 Sahara (one of my generic go-to juices) so I decided to try it, and it RUINED the liquid. The steeping made it taste stale, bland and have a nasty chemical aftertaste. This was only 2 days with the cap off. Has anyone else experienced this before!?

I used to steep with the cap off, but stopped doing it after hearing a couple experts say it's a bad idea. It never ruined any juice for me, but it can happen.

Every take a drink of water that's been sitting out for a couple days? Nasty! Stale, odd flavor gets introduced from the air. I don't want to do that to my vape juice.

I think I read that the turkish tobaccos are considered eastern, or maybe oriental, and I've heard them described as spicy, I think. If that's true, and the turkish has some real turkish extract in it, could be some type of allergen? Granted it would only be the barest trace, but some allergens can cause a reaction even in the most minute exposures.

I was actually quite nauseous after I vaped it for a couple hours, but I think it probably had more to do with the high level (for me, 12mg is high) of nicotine, but the taste also just... I dunno, after a while it just kinda grossed me out. And I do think that Halo Turkish has something of real tobacco in it, because I just could NOT lose that smoky scent in my sinuses, the rest of that evening.

I got the vapemail I was expecting today, so I have an interim report -- interim because they all need to "steep," to age in a dark drawer, for a little while, though one of them might take longer.

The one I was most hopeful of, the Virginia from myvaporstore, is the one that will probably need the most time. It has a *little* of the slight touch of apple sweetness that my regular Virginia has (the one from myfreedomsmokes), but, I don't detect any of the more savory notes, AND, there's a very discernible chemical sort of taste. It *might* turn out ok, but only time will tell.

The Cinnamon Tobacco from ECBlend wasn't bad, but the taste is so very light, that the tobacco taste seems kinda "missing," and even the cinnamon is extremely muted. I believe a short aging time might do this one very well.

There's one other, and though it's not technically a tobacco at all, --Cinnamon Apple-- (also from EC Blend) it has notes that I recognize from the Virginia that I love so much, so it's definitely a winner already, and will only improve from a short steep, probably deepening in taste. At worst, if the myvaporstore Virginia doesn't age into what I *hope* it *might* be, I can probably mix in some of this Cinnamon Apple and get a taste that's not too far from my regular Virginia.

In fact, that new Virginia might be dramatically improved by mixing with both of these, but i will give that new Virginia a nice long wait, to try and let that chemical taste dissipate. It should probably be aired out fairly regularly, too, to help get rid of that.

I have another Virginia coming tomorrow, the Hangsen Virginia. I've located another Virginia from a vape shop located right here in GA, so the shipping from it shouldn't take long at all; I will probably go ahead and try that one, too, since the one I got today was a bit disappointing.

I really doubt that either of the two tobaccos listed above have anything of real tobacco in them; the myvaporstore Virginia has that very evident chemical taste, and the Cinnamon Tobacco is just so mild and light; anything of real tobacco would have a much smokier smell/taste than either of these -- in fact I'm now wondering if that's what is so satisfying about my regular Virginia; it does have a slight smokiness, the longer you wait for it, so there might be a bit of extract in it.

First off I'd like to say that I think both THIS thread as well as the NET thread become "Stickies" as the information that appears in both threads is essential to tobacco specific juice users.

Secondly, I just made my first order of Ahl liquids.......Sahara Blend and Devil Dog will be heading my way and I will be giving :2c: as soon as I vape them as well as juices from NET.com which may take a bit longer.

So far my favorite analog type tobacco juice (synthetic) remains Desert Joe from SI/Volt.....carry on

Glad to hear of a review where someone actually mentions the chemical smell/taste in a juice. I thought I was the only one who has encountered this phenomenon. Now I know how to possibly counteract it, thanks Andria!

Over in the "older folks...front porch" thread, someone told me that if I left it uncapped for 24 hrs, it would help even more to get rid of that chemical taste/smell -- I hope that's true, because that was by far the worst aspect of that juice. I'll still let it steep for a week or two, to try and let the full flavor develop. Maybe the myfreedomsmokes was already somewhat aged, considering that they're now out of stock.

At this point, I'm looking into getting the Virginia flavor from myfreedomsmokes and doing the DIY thing, so I don't have to worry about running out again; I can get the flavor and 125ml of 24mg nic juice, for about $13.50 (which I would be diluting to 8mg, so that would make a lot!), and I already have some glass bottles and a 50ml cylinder, so all I'd need beside that would probably be the luer lock syringe and needles I have my eye on.

Several juice makers recommend leaving the top off for 24 hours or more. Just keep it in a place where there isn't much chance of dust getting in. I used the boxes my Halo juice was sent in. The way it is designed I could kind of make a roof that still let air in and out from the sides. It really helped to kill the perfumey and "chemical" smells. Also, if you have the time let it sit another couple of days and shake it once or twice a day.

Some companies recommend that you let the bottle breathe and then steep for 7 - 10 days. Ask the company that made or sold you the juice. I thought steeping was a crazy idea, but it really does help.
