When I first started diy, I bought 1ml and 3ml and 5ml syringes also.
The 1 ml syringes seemed to be used the most with the small percentages of flavors in small batch mixes. I HATED the 1 ml syringes.
I ended up finding 3ml disposable pipettes that are marked at .25, .50, .75 and 1 ml. And they are easy to read. Also not so disposable as I wash and reuse them over and over. AND they are CHEAP!!!
It was easy for me to figure out about where .3 or .8 or whatever was and it has continued to work for me.

Most will suggest a scale, that method is loved by many.
Tried it once, still overshot the numbers, so I stuck with my mixing style.

Do you need to work on the 0.0x ml Level? Can you Taste the Difference if you work on the 0.x ml Level?

Or is that just what Math says you need to do?
i went on a eliquid calculator site and it said exactly those numbers , does it make some difference + i think it would if i would be using 99% pure nicotine 990mg am i right ?

I look at it this way, I don't really care if my mix is 49/51 or 50/50 or 52/48 and I really don't sweat it if my nic is 4mg or 3.75 or 4.20mg. My taste buds have yet to perceive any difference in my mixes that I'm sure have not been PERFECT.
I try to the best of MY ability to be exact as I can with my nic.
If the flavors are 7% and I hit 6.89 or 7.13 am I gonna taste the difference. NOPE.
Do your best to be accurate. Keeps notes. Don't be afraid to round off those numbers. Its ok, there are no diy mixing police that will come to get you. LOL

I'm sorry, if you are using 99% pure nic and you don't know how to use measurements on a syringe? Wow and be very careful!

.01 x 1ml of 990mg/ml Nicotine Base would 9.9mg of Nicotine. So that would be a Huge Relative Error. But we are not talking about using 99% Nicotine.

All I was saying is if you Round All of your Flavoring Amounts to 0.x ml, can you tell the Difference if you Don't? Because if you Can't, why try to Measure down on Arbitrarily Small Increments?

It's a Whole Lot Harder to Measure such Small Amounts. And if you Can't Taste it, why Do It?

You have to Remember that if you Say you Want a Specific Flavoring Percentage that a e-Liquid Calculator just does the Math and Tells you what you should add.

So if you say you want 5% of some Flavoring, the Math comes out to say 2.08ml's. But if you said you Wanted something like 5.05% of that Flavor, the Math would give you something like 2.1ml.

Couple all this with if you are doing a New Recipe, you Don't know what the Mix it is going to Taste like Anyway. So why not use Easier to Measure Increments?

It isn't going to have any Real effect on the Nicotine mg/ml Level. And it Isn't going to have any Real effect on your PG to VG Ratio.

BTW - Do you think Retail e-Liquids are Made/Mixed on the 0.0x ml level?

Just one more suggestion if you are concerned about that level of accuracy, get a smaller syringe. Maybe a 2 or 1 mls. Then the increments become even smaller and thus better accuracy.

To take if further, as someone else suggested, get a scale and mix by weight. Scales go for $10.
