T3 Mini vs CE4's

I've been very happy with my CE4's lately, but I've been wanting a T3 mini since... well, since I read about T3's. Everyone raves about the regular T3, and a mini seemed like the perfect pocket vape for work.

When I finally found the mini T3's, I bought a couple. I got them today. Filled one up, let it sit for a few minutes, then got to business. Started at 3.5v and worked my way up. I'm using the ego V so I had to finaggle the post to get a good battery connection. Then once I got it working, I was very disappointed with the taste. Vapor production is OK, but compared to my CE4's, they taste like .....

Should I have thoroughly cleaned the T3 before I vaped it, or...? With so man people speaking so highly of the T3, I find it hard to believe they can work so poorly. My CE4's can be finicky sometimes, but once you get the hang of them, they taste GREAT and provide GREAT vapor.

What am I doing wrong with the T3?

I just got 3 mini-T3s in the mail today from Sun Vapers. My first reaction was like yours - ugh, where's the flavor? However, the flavor definitely started perking up after about 1/2 tank and I'm really liking it now. The vapor production is also very good and seems to be bit warmer than the regular T3 (a good thing, imo, and one of the things I was hoping for with it). Hopefully it will stay this good.

What is the length of the Minis vs the ce4? I really like the ce4. Was not happy with the regular T3 (gave it to my neighbor).

The mini T3 is about 1/2 inch shorter than the regular T3, which doesn't sound like much but to me it looks much better. On my second tank and it's still doing well.

Well, after about a tank of break-in, the flavor is much better. It's now actually my "stealthy work vape" on top of a Joye ego-c battery. It hasn't replaced my CE4's for sitting at home, but is working great for out-and-about duty.

Yeah...it really does help to clean them before use. I started pulling the wicks out and using cotton instead of silica and they are vape trains! I know some folks don't care to use cotton, but they are really easy to rewick if you do. If you ever do try cotton just let it sit 2 to 3 hours after you fill it before you use it. It will have a slight cotton taste at first that will go away quick. I've been loving cotton lately!
