T3S heads different from PT2 heads?

So I got some heads for both of those tanks and had them mixed up because I thought they were same. I went to put one on my TS3 and it screwed into the base just fine. When I went to screw it onto the tank it wouldn't tighten down more than a thread or two. I figured out that the little metal base that is part of the head that the wick sits on is slightly bigger in diameter than the PT2 heads. Am I correct in thinking they are not compatible? If that's the case then I will just get an EVOD so I can have the same heads.

EDIT: From what I can see on different website that sell both is that the T3S heads will work on the PT but not vice versa.

I was under the impression that KangerTech had standardized the coil replacements for all three of their BCC models (M/T3S, Protank series and Evod).

I haven't replaced one of my MT3S heads in about a month because the liquid I use in that system is a high PG content and doesn't gunk up the coils like my VG flavors.

They won't work. The base/circular portion of the head is bigger.
