And before KGD and rayon, we had silica and before silica we had cellulose - it's all personal choice. I like ceramic because it lasts as close to forever as any wick I have used. It can outlast the kanthal. It can be dry fired to clean the coil without re-building. It has very little native taste after it breaks in, a couple of ml. And, I like to goof around with new stuff [probably this should be first].

Why? We have KGD and rayon /;

Here's a dumb dumb question.
I got both a nano kit and an m tank for the taifun today.
Is there a way to completely fill a taifun?
As in how can I fill all that empty space?

No, the Taifun just has a lot of "wasted" space. I like the Taifun and use about 80% of my time but it holds as much air as liquid when full. Its volume is limited by the length of the the "air post" from the top.

Here's a dumb dumb question.

On the larger Taifun thread, someone posted a pic of how they drilled out two fill holes in the top to get over 7ml in there. One hole to fill and one for air relief. Pretty cool, but I'm happy with it's capacity. Besides the "wasted space" ensures a good vacuum.

Yeah I'm happy with the capacity; In fact I went nano with it. Lol
