I wonder if I'm the only one that installed the plastic air reducer into that 4 mm hole between the coil posts on the Taifun GT II. It puts at 2 mm now.
The o-rings for each end of the glass tank and the air control ring are 18 x 1 mm, all others appear to be the same size as TGT I. No 2 x 1 o-ring is on the 510 screw but I probably will add one as it appears to be the same as TGT I.

Except for a bit of some type of lube on the AC ring's o-ring this arrived clean as a whistle, I'm not going to clean this first and that's a first.

Even after double cleaning the FT TGT clones I still could taste the machine oil for a couple tanks but no added taste from this one the way it arrived.
Much quieter than a TGT I, otherwise (since I reduced the air hole from 4 to 2 mm) It vapes about the same as my TGT-S but with bragging rights. BTW which is dan good

How are you liking the vape on the GT II? How does it compare to the original?

For the most part, the GT II and the Original vape very similar to each other. One thing I've always liked over the Kayfun was the ability of the Taifun to produce more pronounced flavor.and this GT II continues that tradition. I have yet to try a Kayfun V4 so I'm currently unable to compare my GT II to that particular atomizer. Ok, so here's my brief review...

There are 3 distinct updates to the GT II and they are the inclusion of AFC, GLASS Tank and adjustable juice control from the chamber cap. I would say that the ability to change airflow on the fly is the GT greatest strength, especially for those that like a looser draw. For my personal liking, I installed the plastic air reducer into the hole inbetween the coils because it provides a smoother vape; only downside is that your reduce airflow to 2mm, which I don't mind since it maintains flavor. Speaking of flavor, I'd say that it's still the same as the original which is a TAIFUN strength. Vapor production will depend on how open your draw is so that will be solely an objective obinion. The ability to refill juice without affecting the coil is the same as the original. Anyway, although the changes to the GT II aren't as drastic as, say, the Kayfun V4, they did make enough changes to make it feel like a new experience. It is definitely a worth purchase.

Bear with me folks
This shows (some what) the setup using little pieces of rolled stainless steel mesh to bring the juice from the tank to the wick/coil.
Little guys loosely rolled:

Now this is the first time doing this so I'm learning as I go.

Making wick and coil for building GS like a Spheroid, the bunny ears here are way too long, make them much shorter.

Like I said they are way too long,

The filler material (aquirium filter) cotton or rayon should work good I'll bet.

Wrap the cut piece of filler around the chimney stem and insert into tank.

Time to juice it up, holds almost the same as without the filler.

Juiced and ready

And here I had to trim them ears as the were too much, pushed the coil against the draw tube because I had it so tight.
It really needs the loops as single strands of wick can clog the chimney stem when they get suck in.

It works pretty good.

The same thing can be done with a TGT, you need to remove the 4 x 1 o-ring from the end of the chimney stem and replace it with a fatter one to help keep the filler in place.

Great pics.
So it appears there are three methods right?
1) bunny ears with filler
2) ss mesh wicks
3) the ridiculousness of trying to thread those wicks into the chamber cap

Number 3 can work but the wick has to be super loose fitting in the holes of the cap.(like 1 mm in a 2 mm hole)
I wrap really small postage stamp pieces of thinnest foil, like the end of a shoe string for such a job.
With the ss pieces is how I've always done it in the past until today, I did the filler style on a TGT once though.

If you are doing the bunny ear one do you have to use silica? Can I use KGD?

It is a strange set up and I doubt I will buy another. I wasted a lot of time today trying to get the wicking up through those little holes. Making it thick enough to not break apart but thin enough to work right. What a nightmare. I am going to try either the bunny ears set up next or maybe the Spheriod method
The GS is kind of a strange little setup. Not sure I've fully wrapped my head around it. My GTII is in my town at the sort facility. Either it's going to stay there til monday, or their going to get it out and delivered today... We shall see

The bunny ears is for the "Spheroid" setup.

Yeah you are right. I stand corrected. The Spheriod Method AKA bunny ears method OR the ss mesh wicks method. Sheesh so much to learn with every new device. I need a vape fairy to follow me around and learn/build all this stuff for me

Start with about 20 mm x 40 mm, roll it so it comes out say 40 mm then cut in half to get your two pieces.
