But is sounds like the ones starting to show up are ss.
The brass doesn't really bother me, it hasn't stop me from using the crap out of them so far
.....but it will be nice to have all ss and give me two bases to see what I can create modding them
I only stopped smoking in Oct and placed my 1st order with FT in Nov, it was probably a bad time given what I know now from the fall out with HKP and peak shipping volumes during Xmas. I lurked on the forums for a while and given my funds short-listed a few RBA's having had hell with tanks and gear. Gave up smoking and bought a eGoV- V2 VV clone (I didn't know it was at the time) fell apart in a day, mis fired all the time and wouldn't fire when the battery was less than 50% it lasted a week, then I got a new Innokin SVD which started to die after 3-4 weeks trigger button collapsed then the 510 insulator broke down causing a short or no connection.
The iClears and Kanger PT II's were leak and flood monsters sure I only vape high VG juices but not matter what I did it didn't work out recoil, replace wicks, modify etc it was really frustrating.
So after I short listed a few recommended RBA's next step was where to get them FT i thought bargain prices and given my engineering background I like a challenge no worries there it is just problem solving.
I have no vaping track record and had to start somewhere so I ordered KFL, TGT and KF 3.1 clones thinking once I get my vape skills I can have some vaping fun seeking the nirvana.
It's been tough so far ordered the TGT 18 Nov, KFLs 2+4 Dec and the KF 3.1 6 Dec from FT yes it has been Xmas and New Year and yes shipping to the UK via the Swiss Alps takes some time.
Both my KFLs have made it here this week I am liking them alot, sure the screws rust but easily fixed, maybe there are no issues with the brass deck but call me nervous after smoking for so long. I can always treat the brass deck now I have been told you can so that is an option if FT don't come through. I think the delays with the FT KF were all the reported problems with plated brass parts and some received broken ones too so FT needed to sort it out before fulfilling new orders.
Vaping has taught me patience, the very first coil for the KFL clone was so rewarding you soon realise when you are seeking the vaping nirvana the journey may take a little long but is sure worth it.
