Take 510 atomizer apart

Can someone tell me how to take a 510 atomizer apart without destroying the threads? I want to use this for a 401 box mod. I can't get it apart. I stripped the threads on the first one trying to get it apart. I don't have that many left.

Can't you thread the 510 atty into the 401 charger? If so, heat the case where the brass connector is with a blow dryer or lighter to cause expansion to the case and loosen the glue, thread it into the charger and tug and pull the crap out of it until you get it out. It'll take some time..but, it'll happen. You'll most like likely pull the case off while the atty connector is still threaded into the charger...if this happens, insert the case back onto the connector just enough to unthread it off the charger...hope I explained this right, and hope this helps.

Those atomizers are tough. I wanted to use the connection on a 401 atomizer in a box mod. I have dead 510's. When a 401 dies I'll try to tear one of those up for a 510. I may not have any better luck.

I used a mini pencil torch to heat up the atomizer body. Connect the battery then wiggle it. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. It will pop loose.
