Hey there, Spring... I'm honestly expecting very little trouble out of my flight for tomorrow. Packed my liquids in quart sized baggie ( like all my other liquids.) also packing my filled tanks in there, too. Unfilled tanks going in my plastic tacklebox accessory holder thing ( clear, compartmentalized.) along with extra batteries, qtips, mod, ego battery, etc etc, to go into the bin. I've not heard too many problems of people having issues with traveling with a PV.

I've traveled with big PVs, little PVs and box mods. The only thing they ever wanted to check was one that looked exactly like a pen. Go figure. As others have said, pack your liquids like you would any other liquids.

The biggest problem I have had is when I accidentally left a filled bottom feeding box mod in a jacket pocket. Security didn't even ask about it, but I had a big mess once in flight. The change in pressure shot the juice right out of it.

I've traveled all over the US, to the UK, and to Russia since I started vaping, without any issues.

Just be sure the batteries and tubes are in your carry on, and any liquids and tanks are in checked luggage or a quart sized bag for the security checkpoint.

I have had issues with tanks leaking on airplanes, but this is generally alleviated by opening the tank to the air for a second to equalize pressure once you're airborne. If you don't want to do this on the plane, then leave the tanks about half full and in a baggy.

FWIW, I've vaped in the airplane lavatory many times without issue. Mind you, I didn't sit in there and make huge clouds, nor did I ask permission either. Just discreetly took a few good hits to get me by :)

My girl and I just flew to Florida and back about a month ago...no problems with each one of us bringing a mod, a couple of ego-style batteries and some juice (in ziploc bags) onto the plane. TSA may have you take the batteries out of a mod, or they may not. Bonus: we both vaped away inside LaGuardia, and, only smoke sets off the alarm in an airplane bathroom (hint, hint ;) ).

Man, I have been wondering about this. When I first got my SVD, I thought they would think it was a bomb. This is good to know. But, I am a bit of a skeptic. Knowledge is power. Hopefully the airline employees have been educated, but I doubt all have. My luck would be to get the last knowledgeable employee to mods. They would think that I had a bad device and I would be cavity searched. Ouch!

I would take anything vp related out and ran through out of the bag. I got held up in an airport for awhile by TSA when they thought the cartos were bullets in my bag. Anything like that they call police over because of jurisdiction with weapon related possibilities. TSA won't remove it they just pull you aside and call. They told me to run it it like that to not get messed with next time.

You will be fine. Keep the juices packed per TSA regulations, obviously. You may have to explain to the guards what your PV is, depending on where you are flying out of - flying out of a small airport, I got a secondary and had to explain what my Precise Plus was, but got through with no hassle after that. Travel safe!
