Taking a trip, plane questions?

I am flying in a couple days and wanted to ask whether my provari will be ok in my carry on luggage? I won't be using it I just don't want to find out I can't take it on the plane along with my 30ml juice bottles. Has anyone had experience with this? Is it ok to have a bunch of 30ml juice in my bag with my provari?

I always put my juice bottles in a 1 quart bag (liquid limit allowed), take it out and run it in the bin with my shoes through security. Normally I empty the juice out of my bottom feeders as well. I had a REO grand loaded with juice in my coat pocket last time, was flagged because it showed as a metal square, and they hand inspected it. Once I said ecig they seemed to know what it was and the TSA guy started a conversation about it. No worries from them.

So if I were to leave all my stuff in my backpack and run it through they probably wouldnt accept it? I guess I can pack it all away in my checked bags? Just nervous that I dont have to empty out my precious juice at the airport!

I put a juice bottle in my 'liquid' bag and the ProVari was in my camera bag. Didn't have any problems with it going through the scanner. No extra checking at all. All my extra juice and gear was w/ my checked luggage.

I'm going to do the same but I am taking out the batts from my provari and a couple 30ml unlabeled juice bottles in a bag. Can I take my filled tanks? How about blunt tip syringes with liquid in them??

Filled tanks is probably not a good idea due to the pressure changes onboard, I've heard from others with tank devices that problems ensued

With regards to syringes, I personally wouldn't, they look suspicious sitting in my living room never mind at an airport checkpoint

Lol! Good point! I might try to just take one in assembled with a floppy plastic blunt needle, I'm starting to fill my two cartos and empty my tanks and packing them in my suitcase.

I don't see any problems with taking it through security, they may ask you questions, but I really don't see them seizing it. The liquid, like juicejunky said, there's a liquid limit, so as long as you don't exceed that, there should be no issues.

As for taking tanks on board, I have mixed feelings about this. I've taken filled tanks with me onboard an aircraft, and never had any problems, be it a Chinook Helicopter, Blackhawk, or a civilian jet aircraft. But that's my experience. I've read that for some people, they've had them leak all over the place. Not fun with the small airplane napkins =P

I've taken tanks on a few flights (1/2 filled).. one leaked, was a mess.. the other times it was fine.. pressure isn't an issue, it's not a sealed tank, air can get in and out (obviously, or there'd be no vapor). It will equalize with everything else.

Didn't have an issue at all with mine through security. Granted I had my major supply of juice in my checked baggage but kept some cartos and my PV on me. Didn't even get a second glace. Vaped a bit in the terminal as well without worry.

Worst case, they just ask you about them. Give them the run down if they don't already have some knowledge about them and demonstrate if you feel like it lol. As for large amounts of ejuice. I haven't been down that road with a carry-on but as others have stated, just keep it in a bag or something and be prepared.

Ive been going through airports with mine since 2008 a number of times each year. I havent had much of an issue at all bringing supplies through the checkpoints. It comes down to common sense...carry on only what you'll need from point A to point B. If you have 7 hours of flight and layovers, take a small bottle filled with your liquid that should last you that amount of time and account for an amount of delay. Atomizers and cartomizers can look like ammo shells running through the scanners...twice Ive had them open my bag and check them out, but most of the time they've passed through with no problems.

I likely wouldnt have a tank on my pv when flying....electronic device with a liquid filled container tends to send some professionals into a tizzy. Plus Im not sure with pressure changes if the tank would leak or anything.

You shouldnt have any issues as long as you dont carry on more than you need.

Update: 2hrs before TSA I have packed in a zip lock in my carry on; 2 30ml bottles of juice, 4 kr808 batts with two cartos filled, i have 4 18650 batts and 3 14500s.I am also leaving my provari and two empty tanks in my plastic bag. In my checked bag I have a plastic bag with 6 15ml juice bottles 2 boxes of cartos and accessories. I also have a pair of scissors and a syringe with a blunt tip.
I printed out my provari info and my batts to show what they are for just in case!
I will let you know how it goes!

Just went through the security checkpoint with all the stuff I wrote above and it was no problem. I just placed all my stuff in a bin and no one even raised an eyebrow! Stealth vaping now!

TSA really is pretty good about this stuff, just put the liquid containing items in the quart bag.

Two weeks back I traveled with a vv tube mod with carto tank, this week I had a large wood bottom feeder. Both times the Syracuse staff checked what was in the bag, absolutely cool about it. If they ask a question just smile and let them know what it is, this is how they learn about different PVs.

I was surprised they didn't even check my stuff I had a bunch of tanks and bottles. Glad my provari made it with me to Montana! Pittsburgh airport was great about it!

I'm from South of Pittsburgh, and being from PA, how could you expect any less? =P Glad you didn't have any trouble, and maybe this thread will calm others fear of flying with what look to be devices used for drugs/weapons.

I just came back from Mexico last Saturday. This was my first international flight since I started vaping and I wasn't sure if security would be tighter.
I always pack my vaping supplies in my checked bag and it DID get searched but everything was still there. They even repacked it neater than I had packed it originally. I had two mods, two pairs of 14430 batts, two AW 18650s, two boxes of cartos, three 30 ml. bottles of juice and a TR-001 charger.

I have a friend who left her 14500 batts in her 3.7 box mod. I think she said the switch was on. They "melted "in her purse during the flight!
