Taking apart the Switch

Imeo, or other helpful friends,

I got the switch out of the body of the new GGTS. However, I for the life of me cannot disassemble the switch itself with out damaging it.

Any suggestions?

Wish I could help you, but I've yet to even get the switch out, did you use pilers?

No, was hand tight and it turns Counterclockwise

catch the button's base with a plier and the head of it with a plastic plier, its easy friend

pliers wrapped in fabric... or some plastic covered jar openers are usually the answer... you do need a pair... and have to hold the button cover and the little roudn thing that touches the center pole... Rob has a nice video about replacing the springs with magnets which shows the process in detail.

I am making a 3D model of the whole thing. I will post a picture of the model when done. But as a teaser, this is what I have so far

Heh, looks like the GG isn't your only obsession, zoranth I like to play with graphics programs also. I'm afraid to get a 3D modeling prog, I would probably quit my job!
