I have a battery from Totally Wicked (Tornado 1100 mah) that suddenly stopped taking a charge. It still has a bit of voltage left (about .9 volts) and the button lights when pressed, but it won't charge when connected to the charger or fire off an atty or carto. It just suddenly happened and it wasn't dropped. I did carefully lift the battery post toi make sure it wasn't buried in there too deep to make center post contact.

I'd like to take it apart and see if there's any obvious wire disconnected. Anybody have any idea how to open one of these up?

Any help/suggestions would be most appreciated!!:)

You have to wiggle the atty/button connector off. Takes a bit of force but it will pop loose. Or you can just drop it as this always seemed to send my eGo's flying apart :)

If it was me, I wouldn't bother as .9v is well below the limit of safety for a li ion battery, although it could be faulty eGo circuitry. When you have it apart, check the battery leads directly. If they're at 2.5v or below, just chuck it as you're playing with fire.
