I got my satin blue, with blue LED, on opening day for the new colors back in August. It got it's first hairline scratch over the weekend when I loaned it out to a co-worker friend who wanted some time to compare his new ProSmoke Legacy Mini with my Provari side by side. He denies scratching it, but it is so minor I don't really mind and one must really look hard to see it.

I have a bad habit of resting the Provari on my lap when driving and forgetting that it is there when I get out of the car. It has survived falling out of my lap onto the parking lot asphault surface a few times without getting a ding or scratch. The satin finishes are pretty tough in my experience. In comparision, the powder coated paint finishes on both my Silver Bullet and BB have numerous dings and scratches.

I get about 13 hours use with the 18490 AW imr 1100 mah batteries when the power button begins blinking slowly that the battery voltage is low; I could easily vape another 2-3 hours longer once this happens. With the ext. cap and the 18650 AW imr 2000 mah batteries I get about a full day's use before the blinking, so I just change out batteries before bed. I use a Pila charger in case that makes any difference, and use 2.5 ohm Ikenvapes single coils or 3.0 ohm smoktek single coils.

There's always protective sleeves for the Provari if you are concerned about dings or scratches. SerenityGear Leather The leather craftsman also does custom sleeves to order like the one my ECF buddy Chohan had made for his Mini Provari. I love the sleeve and Phiniac tank: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../335534-im-not-saying-aliens.html#post7309104

Although I don't use it all the time, I made a rubber sleeve for my Provari in the image below. Made from a $9 motorcycle hand grip and an exacto knife. I have a blue and black one. Instructions here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...bber-provari-protective-grip.html#post7026279

I love those sleeves, they look fantastic! I think, after poring over the website and photos here that I may actually go with a purple mini + green LED. I vape 1.6 ml with the rare top off all day, a mini should be fine for me. John has been working crazy hours of the sort that should be illegal (serious gripe) so he'll be looking at the options soon so we can get this provari order party going!

I think the Mini Provari is an excellent choice, especially for a woman with smaller hands, or anyone for that matter that prefers a more compact, shorter length mod. I'm actually planning to gift myself with a Mini (my second Provari) for my 1 year smoke-free anniversary in April. The fully extended Provari is great, but not particularly pocketable and sort of heavy for out-and-about or for use in the car. A shorter length Provari would be ideal for me for to use in those situations.

The Mini uses an AW 18350 imr, 700 mah battery (expected battery use of 7 hours), with the optional extension cap it can use the larger AW 18490 imr, 1100 mah battery (expected battery use of 11 hours), the same battery that is used in the regular Provari.

The Mini and Regular Provari have the exact same inner electronics; basically the same device with different lengths and the option of using different battery duration options. I don't mind safely carrying an extra couple of batteries for the convenience of carrying a shorter, lighter device. I'll use the regular Provari mostly for home, and use the Mini for work, car, and other out-and-about uses. I even have my eye on a Serenity Gear flexi-sleeve/lanyard for it so it can't be misplaced and for hands-free transport.

I've been checking out those lanyards too, the girly bling thread has a couple from vape meetings that are also nice. There's a big vape-con near me this August, I want to go and get some good vendor offerings! It's the weekend of my birthday too, so I'll have my way as far as forcing my schedule. What you say about carrying batteries around and hand size is what did it for me. I have to carry a purse for work and kid stuff more than my own, but now it's a reason to keep a spare battery! I'll probably order the extension at some point, but I have my Twist and ego-t backups so I know I won't be jonesin!

Congrats on your choice! I love my silver mini with standard red. :) check out Phiniac tanks they look gorgeous atop the mini. Jennifer from Phiniac said they should have more hand blown ones up this week. Serenity is great but custom orders take 3 to 4 weeks ( wish they told me that when ordering) good luck with everything and post pics when it's all set up! Happy vaping from Las Vegas!

Here it is, been enjoying it! Super glad I got the regular size and not the mini for a starter. I have giant coaching paws or something ><

I love it for the feel, the quality of the little things, and the knowledge that unless I do something catastrophic or dumb it's going to last a long while. Plus it looks great! I think I get the same quality vapor and flavor from it that I got with my spinner (which broke at a month old, grr) and my Twist.

One thing I have to say is I was conscious of the "new toy vape headache" and didn't go nuts. I still got a bit of an ache from it. I turned the voltage down to 3.6 and almost avoided using it but still was there. Then I switched to my husbands 12mg juice (mine are 18-24mg) and it got better. Is this normal? I'm glad for lowered nic, but has this happened to anyone else?
