Try an ultrasonic cleaner. Not one of those little battery powered things, a real one. I just got one from Harbor Freight. It was thirty something dollars and it will clean coils {after dry burn} like nobody's business; wicks, tanks and all other parts, too. These UC's are pretty amazing.

But the other use a UC has is to speed steep juice if it needs it. five hours of a bottle in a UC will replace three weeks of sitting in a dark place. There has been much research regarding this subject here on ECF. Any avid vaper will benefit from having one. :)

I have one from Harbor Freight too, and I've been using it to steep recently. I have no patience for waiting for weeks LOL Do you think it an get Voodoo smell out of my mini tank??

Tell me about dry burning Triton tanks - do you take anything apart to do it (after washing)? I only wash mine (vodka soak, dental soak, etc).

When I do a dry burn, I disassemble the head down to the main coiled wick, leaving it in as if normal operation. (Cap off, flavor wick out, etc).
Put it on a VV if you have one, and turn it all the way down, and pulse it (no more than 3 seconds at a time, too long and it will potentially pop the coil!!!) until you see the coils begin to glow ever so slightly. few more short pulses, and all done.
You can do this with a normal Triton batt if that's all you have, just make sure to keep an eye on the coil as you warm it up... as soon as it starts to glow, stop firing it, then repeat until the gunk and whatnot is gone.
Reassemble, load, and vape on!

HTH!

If you have the same ultrasonic that I do, here is a tip. Use a squeeze clamp on the power button to over-ride the 3 minute cycle time. It will stay on as long as you wish! But be careful, as the water will eventually get too hot, which is bad for steeping juices. {temperatures over 120 Fahrenheit is bad for E-liquids} Ten minutes should be plenty for tanks.

I actually plug my UC into a mechanical timer and give it a 50% duty cycle {30 min on, 30 min off, and so on} so that the water never gets too warm when steeping. Ten hours of this will make any juice taste great in one day instead of weeks for some juices. Be sure to leave the lid open for maximum heat dissipation.

This is my experience and your mileage may vary. {YMMV} ;)

Hmm, the one I have has an 8 minute cycle. Even if I press the 'on' button it won't go until I have selected the amount of time. Someone somewhere found that for the juice he was steeping 6 hours tasted like 1 week steeped. It would be nice to know if this was reliable, but I don't have any 6 week old steeped juice to experiment with:vapor:
