Hi

The only materials that react to tank Crackers are polycarbonate, polycarb blends and acrylic. The metal Vivi Novas are fine, as long as they are completely metal and not the ones that are a metal sleeve over a plastic tank that has a window. I think there is a similar looking clearo out now that is metal over glass, but I'm not completely sure. There are so many new safe clearos on the market that it's hard to keep track. I have a blog about cracking juices, but it's a little dated now since I wrote it before most people were aware of the problem; still, you may find something of interest. And don't forget about your drip tip - polycarb and acrylic drip tips are usually the first thing to show damage. Being in constant contact with the juice can make the bottom of the tips mushy.

EEEKKK! What happened to my tank?

I have a few new flavors from Fuzion that plastic clearos can't handle. Orangrzilla and a banana flavor.

I just got these Vision Vivi Nova with metal tubes. This is probably a stupid question, but can I use those liquids in this tank? I know glass is OK for flavors like that, but I wasn't sure about these.

So how are you liking these? I just ordered one today to try. Does it give good flavor? Have you had any problems with them?

I bought 4 of them recently at the local vape store. I used the 3.5's before that (they didn't sell those at the local shop). Since almost every flavor I vape is a tank-cracker, it's been hard to find good tanks. These are "okay". They are harder to fill and less durable than their 3.5 counterparts, but still better than any Kanger glass products I've tried.

I've only used it once so far, there's got to be a trick to telling how full it is...maybe I'll stick a toothpick down in there or something?

No need, when the tank hits bottom, you get a dry hit, very light burnt flavor that doesn't repeat once refilled. That's one of my favorite things about the Vivi products over Evods and Kangers.. which once you get any burnt taste, it only ever gets worse - even when the tank is full, I've gotten that from Kangers. Ugh.

I'm glad to know the burnt flavor goes away! Although I really like to know how much juice is in there. I'm away from home most of the day, so I fill up all of my tanks (I carry a ridiculous amount with me) at night so I'm good to go with nice, full tanks in the morning. But I'm a little OCD about certain things, so I'm probably being crazy :D
