the smpl is a hybrid and should NOT be used with a sub-tank or any other tank. notice how the center pin on the tank is flush with the threads. when those threads make contact with the battery it will cause a hard short EVERY TIME. the smpl is made for RDAs with protruding center pins period. don't do it be safe.
