I use the same VS tank and it works pretty good. I had to open up the notches over the wicks in the plug to get better wicking, and trim the little lip that goes around the cup because I was getting a plasticky taste. But it's been working great for over a week now. 2.2ohms and running it at 4.2-4.8V. That's a great price on VS2's BTW.

The J-tank works great with the LT. Any tank that'll take a standard length 2.5-3ohm carto should work good. The Smoketech DCT never worked good for me. It fired, but the DC 1.5ohm carto is not very good for the LT. Finding XL 2.5-3ohm cartos and drilling them is a hassle. I'd rather be able to use standard length Boge cartos.

I have a mom and pop mini-sub, I have been using for almost 2 weeks now and so far i have not have any leaking issues with it. Also it is easy to fill. I use Boge 3ohm with it. I am planning on getting the sub. Here is the link for it and a pic.

See the lavatube tank thread here:

I like the sub and minisub from Mom and Pop's Vapor shop for easy filling around the house-

I have magpie syndrome so I use these alot as well (you can get just about any resistance prepunched carto from madvapes) and there is no screw to catch the pocket for traveling:
Smoktech LARGE metal Dual Coil Tank (DCT)
The place I got mine from is out of stock, but here is the "going out to a nice dinner" tank that I use, the red is super sweet on the LT:
6ML Dual Coil Tank - Single

Carto's in a variety of single and dual coil for flanged tanks:
Tank Replacement Single Coil Cartomizers, 2.0 ohms

You can also punch or slot e2's or use them "map tank" style with cut or pre-cut e2's. carto tanks of any style are pretty flexible.

Just wanted to add use a saddle valve. I cut mine with the dremel and I saw a ton of metal shavings everywhere. Im sure some were inside the carto and I dont want to be vaping metal shavings in my juice. Also I did do two slots and I think one would of been just fine.

Vanjo coincidence? lol

That is how I punch/cut my cartos, with a dremel. What size of saddle valve should I get? or is it just one size?

1/4" saddle valve is what I am hearing. However if you use 100% VG juice many people recommend a drop or two of distilled water to help or punch 2 holes. Only VG I have is Bobas and havent put it in a tank yet.

If you like slotting you can easily pull the tube off them..just put the tank cartomizer on a eGo style battery grip the tube and eGo firmly..then "wiggle" it back and forth a bit and it comes right off..be careful to not unravel the packing as it would make it harder to put the tube back on..easier than they come off metal CE2's. Then you can grind slots in it and clean it out before putting it back on. BTW as I wrote this I removed a tube and put it back on by hand..I have 4 DC's laying around from a kit as I don't use them I like CE2's in my tanks.

You should be able to put it back on by hand no problem just make sure you seat it enough..if you can't by hand sticking it in a vise would work just be careful not to crush it. I prepared my CE2's for use on the SmokTech tanks this way except I used a file to slot them as I don't have a rotary tool but I have one on the way..next week I'm ordering more tanks (just the ST DC tanks without the cartomizers) too :)

So your able to put the metal sleeve back on without disrupting the filler ? Will have to try it on some thrashed cartos at home for sure. Thanks!

Yep slides right off..make sure you don't pinch the filler materiel in the pressed fitting when putting the tube back on..you probably could unravel the filler clean it and put it back if you're good at wrapping things..I would say try it on old ones first..then try it on a new one watching for leaks.

I would only pull it off once or twice as the more you pull it the better chance for leaks..although I pull the tubes off CE2's over and over without issue..for the last few weeks I've been using the same 2 metal tubes I slotted with a file with different internal CE2's I had cleaned/burned off.

Lemme make sure I have this straight. I've wondered how/if CE2's could be use.
I assume this is strictly SS CE2's.
You can get a pack of SS CE2's, slot one tube, then just use that same tube on the other CE2s?
This would be great since it's hard to get the slot sized just right every time for a particular juice.

How are you useing these on a DCT? Are there SS XL sized CE2's, or are you using a longer drip tip?

I have a DCT and I hate using it with the filled 1.5ohm cartos. I almost threw it out. This may be a feasible option.

Slot size doesn't matter with CE2's but you have to put a slot or hole near the top and bottom so the juice can flow. CE2's are different you don't need to worry so much about flooding as there is no filler..the 2 holes are so it always stays full..also you can cut the tube in half with just enough at the bottom to go into the tank and seal then use the top of the tube to just cover the rubber.

It's probably better to slot them though so they are secure. You can use the metal CE2 tube on a CE2 clearomizer innards so yes you can reuse the tubes on other CE2's but I'm sure they will wear out and leak after removing/re-pressing them on a bunch of times..the only reason I'm reusing the tubes so much right now is because it's a pain to hand file them once I get a rotary tool next week I won't reuse them as much.

You could also grind away the whole side of the CE2 from the top and bottom of the tank. Once I get my rotary tool and some more tanks I'm going to experiment with slotting to see what I prefer and I might post some pics. I'm sure if you search around you can find some pics of slotted CE2's in tanks on these forums also.

Got my rotary tool, Stainless Steel CE2's and tanks today..I only setup one tank today and forgot to take a pic of the tube off with the slots but I will when I setup more. In the pic below is my blue 5-6ml SmokTech Chrome capped tank with a slotted CE2 on my VV Tube..it has Cotton Candy from MadVapes and as you can see I've vaped half the liquid from it already so it works great..I couldn't fill it more than about just over 3/4 full so I might have to make the slots a bit bigger..but at 3/4+ full it's a lot of juice (EDIT: I got it almost all the way full when I refilled it by going slower and tilting it more with the top slot pointing up) :)
