What I meant was the dual coil tank (as opposed to the regular) is longer and 5m. It's designed to accommodate the longer SMOKtech type dual coils. I didn't know they were called megadualies.

What I also didn't know before today was there are regular sized dual coils which will fit the 3ml tank. It looks like you already knew! I picked a few of those up at the store today and will be trying one on a regular tank when I get to the end of my tank.

"Megadualies" is a term I coined for mega-sized dual coil cartos - I call regular sized ones "dualies" - sorry if that was confusing.

Here's a pic to illustrate the sizes:

On the left is a megadualie.
In the middle is a pre-cut standard dualie for the Liquinator that comes with the 3ml dual coil tank.
On the right is a LR 2.0 ohm carto.

The wrappers have been removed from both the LR carto and the megadualie. I apologize for the poor lighting - all are shiny stainless steel.

As you can see, the LR carto and the standard dualie are exactly the same size, which means that if you have a 3ml dual coil Liquinator, you can also use LR 2.0 ohm cartos with them as well.
Hope that explains it better. :)

What you're experiencing is what I call "carto physics". It's a unique effect specific to dual coil cartos. Here's how it works:
In a regular dualie, the coils being closer together concentrates the heat produced by them to a smaller area of filler which can result in the juice being vaporized more completely, resulting in the vapor being produced being closer in consistency to that of actual steam. This will produce less vapor volume and flavor.
However, in a mega carto, the dual coils are spaced farther apart, which means that a larger area of juice loaded filler is being affected between the coils - this would account for the greater vapor volume, warmth, and flavor you experience from the megas due to the more even heating being produced in the carto.
It's that extra vapor volume that provides the warmth and flavor in a hit, even though overall, the mega carto itself is actually running slightly cooler than a regular one does.

Hope that helps. :)
