I've been vaping atomic cinnacide 80/20 24mg. I am aware of the comments on cinnamon and i had the foresight to order a couple of spare tubes. I was hoping the "new" tube material might be more resistant.

What seems peculiar to me though is the fact the crack started at the top of the tube, not the bottom where its in contact with the juice all the time. I'm still wondering if the stopper material expands with heat ever so slightly. imo that may put pressure on the edge enough to start a crack?

It's a chemical reaction... Between the poly material and the ingredients of the juice... Simple explanation.

okay, i will accept that. Why hasn't the bottom cracked after being in contact with the juice for more that 48 hours and still is in fact?...shrug. I would have though that the chemical reaction to the polymer would have been even more profound.

I'm really of the opinion that in my case its a stress crack. It started at the top. Thats why i was wondering if some people that experienced cracks were in a high ambient temprature environment. If the rubber stopper (epdm?) expanded even slightly with the tight tolerance that they have to be..that would put stress on the edge.

If in my case it is a chemical reaction as i have said i would have expected to see the deterioration where the contact was the most prolonged..i.e at the bottom.

Having said all that, the bottom stopper is subjected to the same ambient temp......shrug?

I tried a liquinator and it worked okay,no leaks, nice draw but the tank slides all up and down the cartos. It slipped completly off at one point and left me with a juice puddle. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks.

Order replacment o-rings from their website... Should fix it up

Received my VV Boxmod from Madvapes today! Got the liquinator going on it.. sonow I can fiddle around and find the perfect vape. I'm not able to simply dial it to a specific voltage but I can keep adjusting till I find the sweet spot :)

Re the cracking: That's why I have a spare tube.. they are cheap and with a different colour tint, you can mix and match colours :)

I concur. I have never had problems with customer service with vaporesence! Nor have I ever had problems with my tanks! I don't know if these people are trying to sabotage this product or company! Most of the time I believe it is user error and inexperience! I love this tank and will stand behind their product.. That is all!

I just called Vaporescence about my cracked tubes. I spoke to Will, and he was extremely helpful! He can't really figure it out either. He is sending me 2 new tubes and a sample of their banana juice to see if a new tube will react the same way. If their juice doesn't crack the tube, he wants me to send them a sample of my DIY banana so they can analyze it. I had my tracking # before we got off the phone!!

I have read about bad customer service and delayed orders from this company, but I firmly disagree that this is the case. Instead of possibly wasting your time trying to email or post on their Facebook page, you may need to get up out of your computer chair(yes, actually get up), pick up the phone and give them a call the old fashioned way! They are busy people, and really want to make everyone happy.

I find this humorous. Why on earth would I wish to sabotage a vendor and a product that I like and respect? I simply posted my experiences looking for a possible explanation in order not to have a repeat scenario.

I love the simplicity of this product and want it to work for me as it has for so many. As for the "user error and inexperience" please enlighten me. Obviously it must be more complicated than slide the carto, fill and slide back again??

Well, I bought 4 tanks. Hubby got one, too. He is vaping a premixed juice, Kalua and coffee, from JuicyVapor. I cleaned all of them, lubed the tubes, and put the tanks back together. All seemed identical as far as the amount of force needed to get the endcaps on. His is still great! I am now vaping DIY grape in the 1st tank. It was the one least badly cracked. The funny thing is that when I was vaping my banana, the crack continued to grow. It seems stable now with my grape juice. This is straight TPA grape flavoring mixed at 20% with my nic base, which is tart compared to my banana.

Well, my only thought is that the V2 tanks are suppose to be made out of near indestructible... Here, right off the site...
"Here They Are! The Wait is OVER! The "Original" ~Vape-O-Matic Liquinator~ Now available in Stainless Steel and Aluminum with Virtually Unbreakable Polycarbonate Tanks"

Doesn't seem to hold up to the description...

Had the same issue....threw in the trash and went with j-tank.....CS amounted to a nasty e-mail...

And to the cracked tank issue.....from their web site:

PLEASE NOTE - While the manufacturers of polycarbonate tubing advertise it as being unbreakable we have had three tanks "frost" and shatter due to other peoples eliquids. We have had no problems. While no one is really sure what causes this problem it is very rare and only with certain liquids. It could be due to essential oils, high ph, or many other things, but again no one really knows. We have decided not to cover this problem with any sort of warranty as this is not our fault or anything we can prevent. We are sorry for any inconvenience but we will make replacement tanks available for purchase.

In other words.....no warrantee on poly tank......

just saying - not flaming.....

Sorry you had a bad experience. I think they post this disclaimer to avoid being taken advantage of. They seem to be very willing someone who has a genuine problem. They are working with me by sending me new tubes at no charge and some of their e juice similar to my banana flavor that cracked 2 tubes. Also, my tanks do not slide up and down, nor do they turn unles you are trying to change their position.

Notcigs is also developing a tank system. Check it out on their forum here.

I never implied this to you personally! And we all have the right to complain freely on this forum! But sometimes I read some posts on here and can't believe the complaints! Maybe it's frustration or something else. But seriously I have 4 tanks. 3 are derlin and 1 is SS. All tanks were ordered at different times and not one has ever been late, leaking, or even DOA. Maybe it's luck on my end. Who knows. Sorry if I offended you!

Those were only "beta" type tanks and sold at that price because several members wanted to buy them and try them out.
I'm sure the final design will change some and be priced accordingly.
we will see how it turns out.....being able to refill the tank by just removing a plug is a plus IMO......

My tanks don't slide up and down or around neither.

No offense taken. Thanks for the explanation.
