I found a pryrex tube. It's sold at vapor-age.com where they sell the torpedo tank. Jonah says it will fit a map tank, but not sure about the liquinator. Does anyone know if map tank tubes fit liquinator tanks?

I can check when I get home, as I have both...I'll let you know after 4:30 pm.

I'm having a problem with my liquinator and was wondering if you guys could help.

I've gone through about 3-4 cartomizers with this liquinator no problem. But after receiving a new 5-pack of atomizers, they all have a burnt/primer/no-flavor/gross taste to them. In fact, all the new cartomizers tasted like that and I can't figure out why? I e-mailed them and they sent me replacements, but they are the same. :/

Any tips on fixing this?

I'm guessing you meant to say cartomizers.

I'd suggest prefilling them with the juice you're gonna load in the tank and maybe give them some time for the juice to soak in before you start vaping with them.

got one of his tanks coming too with the pyrex...sorta interested in them as an alternate to polycarb, most of the tanks out there are using 3/4 OD and 5/8 ID with 1/16 inch thickness tubes

as for the pyrex glass tubing it looks like the closest to the polycarb is the standard 19 mm size with 1.6 mm Wall
here is the fraction to mm conversion
3/4 = 19.0500 mm
5/8 = 15.8750 mm

when figuring the ID you need to double the wall mm size which is the case is 1.6 X 2 = 3.2 mm
subtract 3.2 mm from 19.05 mm and viola you have 15.85 ID which is a very close 5/8 ID

if you look at the pyrex tubing that Jonah has pictured on his website one side does not look like it has been polished but will have to confirm when get....
pyrexoption.jpg

the right side of tube looks like just a straight cut, guess wont matter much if can't cut ya

Sorry for the late reply, but they seem to be the same size, so you should be good with Jonah's pyrex tube.

Based on Jed's math this might be a Pyrex option for some one willing to test it.

Glass Tubing Cutter

19mm (3/4 in) O.D. Corning Pyrex Glass Tubing - Wale Apparatus

3.2mm Wall is just a bit over the 3.175mm

don't think you want to go with the glass tube cutter on this stuff....a straight cut with a Resin Bond Diamond Wheel using a tile saw is the way to go....little expensive option though
end result will leave you with a saw cut ends...from there you could go to fire polishing for a nice finish

Update for anyone interested:

I really tried to get some use out of the slotted dual coil cartos that came with my Liquinators, but more often than not, they'd leak from the air holes at the threaded end. I had some success with a Fusion carto, but I used a subpar juice and didn't really enjoy it. No leaking, though with the Fusion. I'll revisit the Fusions in the Liquinator again.

Anyway... I don't have any XL length cartos on hand to use with my 5 mL Liquinator except for dual coils and I'm done with using them in tanks. Then I remembered that I had some XL length CE2's. I also remembered the Gummy Tank a la GummyBear, and thought I'd try it in a Liquinator. I removed the sticker and glue from the CE2 carto, slotted it with my faux Dremel, and installed it into my Liquinator. I top filled it too, since there was no chance of leaking unless I filled it above the ceramic cup, which I didn't.

It's vaping pretty well and looks much more polished than the $3 tank mods (a la Para) that I was making with the CE2's.

So, yay!

I got in some SS Mega size Resurrectors (1.7-2.0, mine is measuring 2.0) today from C.C.V. I have one running now in the 5 ml. Liquinator at 4.0 on one of my Provaris. This thing is "Rockin" good! I put two small slots in the carto. One about 1/4" from the top inside lid, and one about halfway in between the top and bottom lids. I had some leaking through the drip tip when it was upside down filling it from the bottom, but once I cleared that out there has be no leaking whatsoever. Time will tell . . .

510 Resurrectors Just have to be careful when slotting to be darn sure you don't disturb the inside tube. I've not had any trouble unless thru my own error of slotting the carto too deep. Now, I've heard the Dual Coil cartos are having a problem. I tried one and no matter what you do those seem to leak. I believe someone posted back on this thread somewhere they believe the filler material used in the DC carto's to be less "thick", so the juice flows too fast.
