I honestly still don't get all the problems people are having with DC's. I've slotted and punched them. The only lkeaking problem I ever had was the first few I tried slotting, I cut to deep. After that, a lighter touch did the trick. I have bought and used DC's from 4 vendors (I realize they are probably Smoktech) with no problems since the first couple. I have probably run through 25+ DC slotted and punched...no leaking.

Just ordered some resserectors... Looking forward to giving them a go!

I'm really surprised at the performance. Now it's wait and see how long the carto lasts. I was wondering if there would be any problem running them on the Provari but I've been using this one since 3 this afternoon (EST), almost 9 hours and it's running flawless. Like I said, when you fill from the bottom, even tho there is no hole in the center tube, it is leaking a little bit from the drip tip. But, as soon as you slide it together and blow out the center tube there's not a drop leaking.

I also tried one or the RRs on my SuperT P18 & P16 running it at 3.7. Both handle it very well.

The outer bands of hurricane Irene will be here in about an hour!

Chief, hold the fort down here!!

Our last hurricane was Isabell, no power for 10 days, lost cell phone service for 2 days, landline service for six days. We had a lot of huge pecan trees (100 yr old trees) taken out by Isabell. Plus a corner of the house taken out by one of the pecan trees. Isabell was only a category 1 hurricane when it got here. But it looked horrible the mess it left behind.

Hard to believe but an earthquake and a hurricane all in one week is too much!

I have been doing all of the liquinator care for both myself and Hubby. If you have been following my story, my unit is working beautifully since I changed from my banana juice, which apparently cracked my tube.

Hubby has had very slight leaking from the atty hole, as have I, but it's getting really bad. I checked it and his juice is literally dripping out. Mine is just a barely visible wet spot in the connector, but he's losing all his juice.

I'm gonna try switching to another slotted carto. I bought an extra 4 cartos with my order, and I'm hoping that if the carto that came in his Liquinator was from that older bad batch that the extra slotted one might be newer.

I just want this to work!

Does anyone think this could still be from that supposedly bad batch of cartos from Boge?

If you're using regular Boge Cartos, and having leaking problems, it's got to be that the slots are being cut too deep. I've gone through a dozen that I either cut or punched and have had no issues. I've heard of many problems with leaking DC's but not Boges. Since most of the posts about leaking are in this thread, I would have to assume that it is due to people getting pre-slotted carto's from Vaporescence. Try to get a Jig and Punch set from Welcome to Vapor Age - Step out of the smoke..... when they go on sale (should happen on Tuesday).

Oh yeah, I've been looking out for it. Hopefully, we will have electricity and internet on Tuesday so I can order one. I've already been in touch with Jonah. I switched his tank to a different preslotted carto, and it seems fine. now I can't wait to punch my own.

+10 for Vaporescence! Update: Vaporescence sent me 2 new tubes and 30ml bottle of their Banana Villa Pudding, when they offered me only a sample, got it today! Delicious, better than my DIY banana. And Hubby's liquinator is no longer leaking since I put a new carto in it!! Everything is working flawlessly once again, and life is good!!

My next question is... Will they punch proper for the liquinator or any other tank OR just the right height for his tanks.... I guess you could drill several holes in the die to accommodate other tanks.
That's exactly what I tried to explain to Jonah. If they were built with a slot on either side, you could use a bolt and nut to make these infinitely adjustable to punch the carto wherever you want. The Liquinator's end caps are shorter than most other designs so to have the hole just above the plug, you need to punch the carto closer to the atty connection. Either way it shouldn't be too hard to make this work as is.

Hell, he should have a multitude of holes stretched across the entire (well at least half way...) Up the cast. My thought on a propritiary item in the ecig business is a fatal one...however, I will still most likely buy on lol. But he sure would sell a lot more if it were carto customizeable in one unit!
