Bigger opening and saturate the carto very well first.
I'll probably start punching my own cartos when the jig and punch set from Vapor Age is for sale but for right now, I'm using the pre-slotted ones. Wondering how much juice to use when I'm priming a brand new carto.
Honestly, flood that puppy... Blow out the excess... Hope that the liquid Wicks well in the tank... DCs are good for thick juices.
+10 for Vaporescence! Update: Vaporescence sent me 2 new tubes and 30ml bottle of their Banana Villa Pudding, when they offered me only a sample, got it today! Delicious, better than my DIY banana. And Hubby's liquinator is no longer leaking since I put a new carto in it!! Everything is working flawlessly once again, and life is good!!
Well PG reduced would mean more VG in it so it should be thicker and less suseptable to leaking. If the only difference between your husbands and your setup is the juice, then I'd assume it's the juice. I really doubt it though. When you say you made a small hole, what you really need to make sure is that you made a shallow hole. Even if the hole is small, if whatever you used to punch it goes deep enough to puncture the inner channel, it will leak. I don't know, I'm grasping at straws now. Hell, PM me your addy and I'll send you two punched cartos that I make and we'll see if it's the carts once and for all!Don't know who's following my liquinator saga... My tubes are not cracking, I'm all good. I have 3 tanks, full of RY4, Grape, and Banana Nilla Pudding(courtesy of Vaporescence).
But, Hubby's is flooding and leaking again through the atty hole. That's 2 pre-notched cartos from Vaporescence so far that are flooding and leaking through the atty hole. So I used a new ss 3.0 Boge carto that I just got in from Good Prophets, and punched a teeny hole on each side right at the same measurement of the slots. It's still flooding and leaking right out of the atty hole. This getting expensive and Hubby is losing a lot of his favorite juice...
The first few drags are fine and clean, then the leaking starts. I don't know what to do. Could it be his juice? It pg reduced from Juicy Vapors, not sure of the exact %. I know I am doing this right because my tanks are working beautifully.
C'mon folks, give me some advice. We need this to work..![]()

Has anyone tried the stainless steel or aluminum liquidnators yet?
Has anyone experienced excessive leaking out of the drip tip while filling the tank up? That shouldn't happen right? Possibly a bad carto?
This has occurred many times for me. The first time I worried the carto was faulty, but it never seems to be the case.
All it means is that the filler has saturated. Once assembled, shouldn't leak anymore. Although I guess it's possible that a bad carto will leak like this, I would not jump to that conclusion. In my experience, some cartos do this, some don't.

Nah, sounds like there is juice in the tube... Take off your tank and blow out the excess liqiuid and put it back on. UNLESS your using a DC... They seem to over wick... At least for me and about 6 others on this thread...
fill from the other end.
I figured that might be the case when I initially primed up a new carto but should it be happening on every subsequent tank fill-up?
I always blow out the carto after every fill, just to make sure.
