Yes, I always do it when I do a refill as some juice gets in center at times

Same for me. When I refill my tank, if it drips out through the drip tip, I wipe off excess with a tissue, then I simply blow a small bit of air through the drip tip. A drop or two come out, and from that point everything is fine.

I will add that most of the time my cartos do not leak out the drip tip. I personally haven't found any signs that indicate if a carto will or will not leak. It just seems random :(

I punched the holes with an awl until it barely went through. Maybe the awl went too deep, I dunno. That's a very generous offer. For now, I'm going to try a couple of things. I reverse spun his carto to get as much juice as possible out of it, and I'm going to try a different juice for him. If it still leaks, I'll try one of my juices in it. If that doesn't work, you may hear from me. BTW, I always blow out the center tube.

Well PG reduced would mean more VG in it so it should be thicker and less suseptable to leaking. If the only difference between your husbands and your setup is the juice, then I'd assume it's the juice. I really doubt it though. When you say you made a small hole, what you really need to make sure is that you made a shallow hole. Even if the hole is small, if whatever you used to punch it goes deep enough to puncture the inner channel, it will leak. I don't know, I'm grasping at straws now. Hell, PM me your addy and I'll send you two punched cartos that I make and we'll see if it's the carts once and for all!

Nope, no new huband. I got 35 years of training into this one. LOL. I don't prefill the cartos. I fill the tank and just put about 5-6 drops on the top of the carto. And I make certain that there is no juice in the center tube.

I'm glad yours is working well. As for your Hubby, Maybe you should just get a new Hubby?

Ha Ha, OK when this was happening to me I stoped pre filling my cartos and wah-la it worked for me.

Hello,
I recently bought one of these and being new I feel there should be some sort of instructions on the website because these are definitely not "plug and vape" I dont know what happened to mine but I loved it for about 7 min. I am currently using a 5v box mod known as the Big Kazoo. Running 2 Tenergy 14500 batts. I filled it with some new KBV "hummingbird nectar" and some LR pre cut cartos from vaporescen. It was great flavor was great no gurgling just crisp clean pulls and tons of vapor and flavor. I am not sure if the LR got to hot and thinnned the juice or what happened but all the sudden I started getting gurgling followed by spheres of burning hot Hummingbird nectar onto my tounge then just a vaccum effect and like sucking a straw I was drinking hummingbird nectar up into my mouth. I cannot fix this problem with any juice Vikingvapoe 100% VG doesnt matter I am consistently drinking ejuice with this tank. Here are some pictures of my tank. I noticed the prings are destroyed and after 10 min of using this is what happened to my tank...thank god I had applied the tint or else this thing wouldnt even hold juice. What am I doing wrong where do I need to start to fix this.... I really like the idea....I really dont like having no taste buds from drinking ml's of burning hot ejuice

Don't know who's following my liquinator saga... My tubes are not cracking, I'm all good. I have 3 tanks, full of RY4, Grape, and Banana Nilla Pudding(courtesy of Vaporescence).

But, Hubby's is flooding and leaking again through the atty hole. That's 2 pre-notched cartos from Vaporescence so far that are flooding and leaking through the atty hole. So I used a new ss 3.0 Boge carto that I just got in from Good Prophets, and punched a teeny hole on each side right at the same measurement of the slots. It's still flooding and leaking right out of the atty hole. This getting expensive and Hubby is losing a lot of his favorite juice...

The first few drags are fine and clean, then the leaking starts. I don't know what to do. Could it be his juice? It pg reduced from Juicy Vapors, not sure of the exact %. I know I am doing this right because my tanks are working beautifully.

C'mon folks, give me some advice. We need this to work..:(

I think we have made some headway here. My fingers are crossed. Maybe this will help someone else.

Okay, I can vape beautifully on Hubby's tank and carto. When he vapes, he gets overwicking and leaking. I don't think he ever learned to vape properly. He takes long, hard, strong drags, and I think he's upsetting the balance or whatever in the tank. I take long, soft and steady drags. He seems to be doing better since we sat down and practiced vaping. Is it possible that he's just got a bad vaping technique? Opinions?

What kind of voltage are you using on an lr carto?

the cracking tank looks like it is from the juice....hummingbird nectar?
Hummingbird Nectar
A sweet blend of flavors which most "Bait A" testers described as Honeysuckle right off the vine. A refreshing yet complex vape. While Honeysuckle may be a dominant flavor we try to always find complimentary flavors to blend with our vapes and this is no exception!

I believe the future of these tanks will be the addition of a fill port on the poly tubing. It won't look as spiffy, but the o-rings on the caps really don't hold up well to frequent disassembly and reassembly and adding juice by backing out the carto part of the way leaves too much empty space inside the tank.

ATTN: PROVARI W/ LIQUINATOR USERS!

ive had problems with screwing the tank down all the way w/ drip tip (ming) and then airflow is blocked causing flooding of the carto. i hated always having to ensure their was a little gap between the provari and the bottom of the tank to ensure airflow. so i started by trying to put something in between the bottom of the tank and the outer lip of the provari catch cup. 1st were small magnets 180 degrees from eachother to provide an even gap but the magnets were too thick and the positive connection didnt reach. i tried putting a small oring over the threads of the carto then screwing it on but it blocked the airflow as well. i nearly gave up and said f- it. but then i found a slightly bigger o-ring and placed it centered over the carto end where the carto meets the bottom tank cap and viola! i can screw it all the way down without worrying it will move up or down at all!

IDK if im the only one with the problem but i had the same problem on both of my liquinators. hope this helps someone out there with the same problem. :vapor:

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but polycarbonate is not one of the great materials as far as chemical resistance is concerned. To add to everyone's confusion on this, it really depends upon the type of juice you are using as well as the intensity of your vaping. Low resistance/high voltage chain vaping will cause the juice to heat up, and this will exacerbate the problem. In other words, the cracking will not be universal but, if it occurs, you will have to change your juice or stop using the Liquinator.

It is the price you pay for using a clear plastic which are mostly terrible as far as chemical Resistance is concerned because they are amorphous/non crystalline. There are a few exceptions such as the PET/butyrate families, but my intention is not to confuse those of you without the chemistry/chemical engineering background. Just trying to give you a reason why all of this is happening. IMHO, I think the problem will be worse with the stainless/aluminum end caps because of the different rates of thermal expansion between metal and plastic, although I doubt that the tubes get hot enough in normal use where the differential expansion would make a difference. However, if you left your PV in a car on a hot, sunny day you could have problems.

In all fairness to the supplier, there is a lot of unknown territory here. There are chemical Resistance tables, of course, but they are anything but complete given the huge range of compounds out there.

The safest material would be a specialty glass tube. The newer materials are incredibly impact resistant and not that expensive.
