I find it to be a plus using an XL/mega carto in a standard tank for just that reason. I have not had an issues with the tank sliding up (knock on wood) and prefer having the top of the tank a little bit further from my lips.

It also allows me to push the carto and its slots out of the tank on the occasions when the carto floods after refilling. I can either blow out the excess or allow it to drain without completely disassembling the tank or risk having the mouth of the carto becoming submerged inside a full tank.

And I can use any size of the cartos I own on it - regular/standard, mega/XL, or Fusion.

same here. Im with you!

Just wanted to say this thing is the Bomb:D I have been using the same Carto on this from day1. Probably been 6 or 7 tanks through it now without any leaks. Using one of the pre-cut carto's that came with it and that one hits like I just put it on. The only issues I have had are user related. I filled it the first time and didn't get the tip of the bottle in the tank far enough and needless to say I filled right into the carto.. Gurgled for a bit until I raised the tank above the slots for a while.

Anyways, just wanted to say thanks. This thing works well. Almost wanted to say better than others,, but this is my first tank ever..lol:rolleyes:

EDIT: I generally prefer the standard, but I've recently begun faling in love with the Mega DC. I'm not a fan of the short DCs.

Could you please explain..... Do they produce a different taste/vape with your juice.... About to make another purchase and another tank - thinking of getting the 5 ml tank next with the DC... and was planning on getting some small DC for the 3 ml tanks I have............. Will the DC run on a 3.7 volt Mod?

Also I forgot where the link was on extra Carts... Where is the best price again? LOL I'm feeling lazy tonight - I just got off a 72 hour shift!!!

I've only tried one of the three 'regular' (3ml) dual coils I bought. I get less vapor, same flavor, and they're really hot. The mega dual coils provide TONS of vapor, great flavor, and run warmer than a regular 3.0Ω Boge cartomizer. Yes, either will work on a 3.7 mod. In fact, they're much better in the 3.4 - 4.0v range. You can run a mega DC on a regular 3ml tank (with overhang), but you can't run a 3ml cartomizer on the taller 5ml tank.

For slotted cartos, go to the Vaporescence site and choose SHOP / PARTS / CARTOMIZERS

Hey all, this is my first visit to this thread. I spent some time looking back at the posts here after seeing a vid of the Liquinator. Till now I strictly used Boge carto's on my VV mods and Darwin. Tanks never interested me, but the Liquinator's integration of a carto looked inviting, thus my order earlier in the day. The consistant comments about the performance and the absence of negative reviews here tells me that this will be a welcome addition to my inventory.

First impressions post will be added after the USPS visits me in a few days....
First impression..Rocks with regular 510 carto at 5.1 volts..full flavor and vapor (70%VG/30%PG)........carto staying wet w/ no dry hits or burnt taste.......no leaks detected.....tank does spin freely on the carto so screwing it onto the PV is a little tricky......

I am going to pick up one of these the same time I buy a provari. Seeing I have never had either, Could some people give me opinions on which type to buy? (510 Reg/LR, 510 Dual Coil, or kr 808d/901 cartomizers.) I love tons of flavor and vapor. (Doesn't everyone?) I not to sure which size to get either. 3 ml or the 5.5 phat. I have only been vaping for three months so all these options are a tad new to me.

I have a Provari and I use it with this tank.

I have spoken at great lengths with the Provape folks (the people who sell the Provari) who recommend that you get as close to 2.2 ohms as possible but try to avoid anything much below that. The LR atties sold by Vaporessence rate at 2-2.1 ohms and as such, these are what I personally use.

As to the tank size, there are really only two options - the 3 ml tank or the 5 ml tank. The 5.5 is designed specifically for the Silver Bullet by Altsmoke and is a very thick but short tank. On the Provari, the 5.5 phat is much thicker than the Provari and so the tank will extend outward from the sides of the Provari more than just a small amount as opposed to the 3 or 5 ml tank which is almost exactly the same thickness as the Provari.

So, the last question you have to ask is, what size do you want (3 or 5 ml). Regardless of how much you 'think' you vape, one of the drawbacks of this tank (and quite frankly, most tank systems) is that you will vape about twice as much fluid as you do without a tank. So, for most people, a 3 ml tank will require one fill at the start of your day and another fill about halfway thru the day (regardless of the time your second fill is, I am pretty sure most people will need to fill twice a day with the 3 ml). The 5 ml 'probably' will be ok if filled at the start of the day but the drawback is that it is almost twice as tall as the 3 ml tank.

Personally, I use slotted LR 510 cartos with the 3 ml tank with my Provari set to 4.1 volts.

Alright, so, the last thing is to figure out what to order and that depends on the tank you are using.

With the Provari:
5.5 ml phat - Do NOT use unless you want a really mutated looking ecig
5 ml 'tall' tank - Order 510 mega cartos (and if you dont want to cut them yourself, make sure they are 'slotted 510 mega cartomizers'). And, if you want low resistance, make sure to keep this in mind.
3 ml 'shorty' tank - Order 510 Boge cartomizers (and if you dont want to cut them yourself, make sure they are 'slotted 510 cartomizers'). And, if you want low resistance, make sure to keep this in mind.

There is one more drawkback I forgot to mention with the 5 ml tank... Since it requires 'mega' cartos, these are harder to find (not impossible, just not nearly as available as standard/LR 510 Boge cartomizers).

I highly recommend ordering a couple of slotted cartos so you can see how they are cut before trying it yourself (there is also a video on youtube showing how to cut them). You can make a trip to Walmart and pickup a 'Dremel 100' (that is the brand and 100 is the model) for $35 USD and it includes a blade (you dont need anything but the core Dremel) and it will work fine for cutting cartos in the future.
