Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

.........If you buy a rotary tool, please use safety glasses when using a cutoff wheel. Cutoff wheels can shatter so you do need to protect your eyes. Practice cutting slots into a dead carto first.

Won't a hole punch work better on a sheet as opposed to a hollow clynder which is what a carto is? If you deform the clyndrical shape from the pressure of the hole punch, you will have leakage with the Liquinator.
Rotary Tool Kit - 80 Piece Set

Good advice....tried the automatic center punch and was able to get the holes made no problem but the carto does get deformed the larger you make the hole. I had no leaks but the wicking wasn't there compared to the dremel slot. Also noticed that the draw on the carto was diminished because of the metal being pushed in where the holes were made most likely pushed the poly into the center tube. Will have to play around with this and fine tune using the punch with a nail as in video below.

right now not putting too much stock in this method compared to the plain old dremel way with slots

Sorry if this is a redundant quesion, but we are up to 64 pages now and my memory isnt what it used to be.
Does anyone have the OD measurements for each tank? my battery MOD is exactly 15/16" and I would like to get something close to match.
measuring 3/4 inch OD on 3mL tank, not sure about the 5.5mL Phatty though

Well... today I had a total failure with my punched cartomizer. After running without a problem for about 18 hours, I picked it up and the carto had a steady leak. I think I may have punched the center tube of the cartomizer and the liquid began leaking through the atty connector. Maybe I jogged something loose?

I've had a lot of success with this method in the past, but only on KR808 cartos. I'll try to play around with this some more this weekend and figure out what I did wrong.

@Jed - I think the Dremel cuts are just fine, but I've got to try to get this working like my old AVS. :)

There's definitely that benefit, though I've noticed no real difference with how tight the cartomizer is attached. I've been playing around with that a little, because on my ProVari if I tighten it too much I was restricting my air flow too much.

But my main challenge was that my juice was all-VG, though, and it felt like I was filling for a loooong time through the very thin syringe I had. It's probably a lot better with a wider gauge needle.

It is just under an inch across on the 5.5ml maybe 6/8 of an inch or bigger. I have both and put them side by side to gauge it. it is about a third larger across than the 3ml tank and just a tad taller

seantex is that ID or OD? 6/8 inch = 3/4 inch which would be the same as the 3mL tank

Wylie, it is the way to go, I take my dremel and put a score in the carto just before it goes through and stop, then I have a nail punch that I put on my belt sander and made it like a needle at the end of it, I then very lightly have to poke a very small hole in the carto, I've been using this technique for some time and find that it really feeds the cartos properly with out flooding them and wasting precious juice but yet keeps them soaked perfectly. We use to use the punch in the old GG days and thats where I found that scoring it first was easier then punching from the start, simply put, it is the way to go.!

Edit: we made Jigs for the other tank system way back when,, you maybe able to find a post showing them.
I've been running the dual coils in my tank and they perform super and so do the Iken V2 Golds.

mwa, looked for pics of jig to try to figure out what you were referring to....all could dig up was pic's custom made jig for cartos for the gg avs....pic's deleted by photobucket :(

yea maybe the mixture of dremel and punch i.e. mwa's method might be the best, that way you thin the carto cylinder wall and when punched less material is relocated whether metal or poly...jig prevents punch going too far in but not sure what it looks like to make one

Should work, but you need a metal cutting blade. On a good saw, you would probably have an easier time since the parts can be set up with a jig to do a lot of repetitive cuts.

I just did it and yes it works but be careful not to cut too deep or the teeth will catch the filler and pull it.

Thank you, both.

I just got my J-tanks....they are nowhere as easy to fill as vaporescence using in a 801 fusions. I don't like the caps on the j-tanks...deeper than vaporescence. They work but I just don't care for them as much. They look cheaper made also. No drip tip or carto comes with them for $19.95. Carto's are available though.

Just ordered the 5ml dual coil tank and the 3ml one. Time to try these bad boys out 8) For some reason the clear dual coils are acting jacked up for me, so these tanks will let me increase the capacity and let me use the steel tubed ones.

Yes Stonz they should work good i got a J-tank now it works realy well no leaks holds a good amont of juice.I am waiting for my 5ml vap o matic they said they got swamped hopfully shipping tomorrow. The j tank works good don't have my other to compare yet but more juice and no leaking.
