The gurgling issue and leaking issue is as I said before. If you are able to cover the slits and it goes away you are fine but if you have tried that and have gone through a few new cartos then it is the juice you are using. If you are using two juices mixed together and one is thicker than the other it will flood and not work. If the juice is the wrong consistency it will flood and not work. I went through 9 cartos thinking they were all bad then realized it was the juice I was using. I took 3 control cartos and filled each with a different juice. the carto with the juice I had issues with before leaked and gurgled. The other two were just fine. It is something about pressure or weight of the juice. Maybe the thicker juice separates and pushes on the thinner juice causing it to flood or something like that. It is strange but it seems to be the cause unless you just have a bunch of bad cartos or you are getting juice in the center tube.

I've used 100% PG, 100%VG, 50/50 mixes, 60pg/40vg, and 70pg/30vg mixes without having any problems. I haven't had any leaking for the exception of one carto but that was my fault. I cut the slit too deep and tore the airhole (or jarred it enough to cause it to tear). As for the juice, I haven't had any problems using the different mixes with the tanks.

I'm using a 3mil tank with a 3 ohm Boge on a 5v GLV.... 80pg/20vg....Filled it last night....Vaped it for an hour and went to bed. It was sitting all night, woke up vaped it again. No leaks, excellent performance.

I just ordered 5 of the phat tanks for the lr 801 fusions that are on the way. I can't wait. The 801 fusion in low resistance should be awesome especially being fed by 5.5ml's of constant juice.

Did you notice that these have notches cut into the caps? What the heck are they for? I like the design vaporescence uses...nice and smooth delrin.

on electronicstix website one tank is with and the other without the notches....if you watch the video the tank has no notches .....maybe the notched ones were prototypes with the notches made for gripping?

on the cheap, a tank with the cartomizer can be made for under $5 but then again it wouldn't be a liquinator with o-rings

I have not been able to find 2 ohm cartos since most of the major suppliers seem to be out of stock (stainless or black). There are a few out there from some suppliers, but they do not carry much of anything that I need right now.

I hate to split orders because of the postage costs.

The Liquinator with the LR has given my 3.7 v devices new life. I was going to dump everything as stay only with my ProVari and ReoMini.

Is there a problem with the Boge's? There have been a few complaints about leaking, and I know that it comes from the carto.

My only issue has been the consistency of the cartos (SR & LR). Some vape great and last about a week to 10 days; some only two.

Occassionally, one will start to gurgle, but I just pull the Liquinator up to cover the slots, blow on it once to get some of the juice out, vape it a bit, then push it back down.

I want to order a few more, but will wait for the stainless to come out.

My only real concern is the Lexan; while it is fairly tough, it really is not the greatest when it comes to stress cracking; however, this has not been a problem to date.

801's are the way to go and am too expecting iken's LR's very soon...surprised there are still any left though after your purchase


Edit: well after last posting checked the mail and the lr fusions have landed...broke out the dremel, slice slice, filled the liquinator with Black Cherry Limade, nice nice!!

I'm almost a little disappointed that soon all of my PVs will be bottom feeders and no need for this tank. I finally find one that works awesome and now I wont have a need for it.

Actually I hate shopping. Clothes are boring to try on, food is overpriced and only go mega food shopping once every 3-4 months (buy milk and little things weekly), and shopping in general doesn't interest me either.

PV stuff is another story but I only buy what I love. For the new stuff coming to market, I tend to avoid buying it until I read reviews.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...LOL.

My LR's didn't come today. Darn...will have to wait until Monday.

Brutus, I don't use bottom feeders because I quit using atomizers and could never get carto's to work right. However, I cracked and have a Boge Revolution V2.1 (1400mah) which is on it's way. I hope that I can get a carto to work right with it so I have something that I can travel with. 10ml capacity is going to be pretty nice if all goes well.

I just broke down and ordered the 5 mL Liquinator plus a dual coil carto plus a 3 mL poly tank. I have lots of cartos and no dremel tool.

Anyone tried drilling holes in the carto sleeves instead of slots? I has a drill.

I'm pretty sure putting a hole in it will work. Here's a link to an old GG thread where I go through the steps for that tank feed system in the first post. It's the same principle.

EDIT: After re-reading it, I later modified it to include TWO holes on opposite sides. I use all VG, so it seems to wick better.

Just ordered the 5.5 (yay) but i also ordered cartos as i haven't used cartos since before the new year..because i had issues with them as stated in past posts :/ that's the only thing i thought hard about with this...but the pros are out weighing the cons of other tanks for me.

ok so my phat is here, first time with this tank and i has the sadz.
time to go read up again, it's not wicking at all on 3 different devices from an eGo to a 5v, it is firing, just dry burny hits. (i dripped from the top also, waited etc i have a 70%PG if that matters?). It works when i drip but what's the point then heh..
oh and the carto that came with it never fired, it was dead :/ and while i knew to piggy back with a new one and be careful of pulling the whole carto out..guess what happened lol!

so far not a good day but i'm not giving up yet as it's mostly my bad luck not the tank.

super fast ship though!

RavenK...that stinks. I fill mine and let them lay for about 20 minutes before using. I haven't had a burnt carto yet, even at 5V on my PT's.

Edit: That was pretty funny. You read my actions too well. What can I say...I lub dem!..but I think I'm done until the aluminum come out but will only buy 2. Hubby wants them for on the road. Grant it, I have a bunch but half of them go across country with him and return home empty. They are really easy to screw on while behind the wheel of a semi.

got my 5ml tank today at Vaporesence in Denton. Works like a champ! The caps are much harder to get on than the 3ml version but once on hold very very tight. No need to refill for a day or so from now on!

Shhhhwwweeettt! I like the looks of it. I hope the Phats work out for hubby. He uses 2 ProVari's but likes the shorter tanks on them.
