hi!
i'm looking for an idiot-proof tank that "just works". ideally with no leaking, consistent and reliable hits, offering decent value -- not necessarily cheap, e.g. more money upfront for a longer-lasting tank/coils counts. other priorities: minimal noise (like whistling from airflow-control ring or gurgling), minimal spitback, usable on a steep angle/upside-down if possible, capacity >3mL, diameter <= 25mm. standard drip tip and replaceable tube would be great, and i'd rather not vape >30W. bonus points if it's appropriate for someone who's pathologically clumsy.
i have two styles of vaping: regular (max vg) and stealth (max pg). in both cases i use flavourless liquid and don't care about clouds so those aren't priorities at all. aesthetics don't matter either, within reason. for regular (max-vg) vaping i'm happy to use more pg if a tank needs it for wicking etc.
my first tank was an aspire nautilus with steel tank -- brilliant, indestructible, still in use. then i dipped my toes into subohm and tried the original uwell crown and obs crius, but both had leaking issues (poss. just my cluelessness). i also had a kanger subohm tank that i lost almost immediately, so i got frustrated and settled on the aspire pockex aio which i've been using ever since.
a friend loaned me her joyetech cubis 2 which i'm liking, but it has trouble wicking if i screw the coil in too tight, similar to my experiences with joyetech's aio. my brother swears by his innokin isub g which i also liked. so that's on the radar, but i'm looking for newer options too, just overwhelmed by the number of options. even for innokin aside from the isub g: isub s, isub apex, isub v... smh.
mods? i use an innokin coolfire pebble battery with the nautilus for stealth vaping and have an eleaf pico dual for at-home/subohm use.
so, any subohm tank with my criteria stand out as a dependable winner for you all? thank you for your time and any suggestions you might have.
