Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
I've used 1.7ohm/SC/Ressurectors@3.7v, 2.0ohm/DCC/SmokTech@4.2v and 3.0ohm/DCC/SmokTech@5.5v in a DCT V2 tank on a Lavatube very well. I do punch additional holes in all my cartos to get enough juice (I like thicker juices). Any carto that is long enough can work in a tank, but you do need to punch or slot them to get them to feed and you need to make sure they're long enough (for my tank XXL or XL cartos - 45mm body + 5mm threading = 50mm overall).

Cool thing about VV is being able to move all over the voltage range and theres tons of youtube videos on how to punch/slot cartos (I use a $6 saddle valve from the local hardware store and usually punch 2 holes - "pop sound" + 1 turn)

Here are some links for tanks that use standard cartos and you get or put whatever ohm carto you like the them.

J-TANKS
Lil' Mama 3ml Stainless Steel Cap Tank Kit - $33.99 : Big Daddy Vapor
Who's Your Daddy Polished Finish Lil' Mama 3ml size Tank [WHODADDY3] - $57.99 : Big Daddy Vapor
Who's Your Daddy Pro-Cise Finish Lil' Mama 3ml size Tank [WHODADDY4] - $57.99 : Big Daddy Vapor

These are all tanks that I own myself and can recommend from my experiences with them. All the tanks from Electronicstix use the standard size cartomizers, so no dual coil or xl cartos although you can use them but you will have some of the cartomizer sticking out the top. All these tanks make a great seal around the carto so you dont have to worry if you pick up your device by the tank, it will definitely not slip off.

The Phiniac tank that Freddie recommend are super nice tanks as well and have great things about them. Will be getting one in the near future :)

Hope this helps.

Edit: The 5ml version of the J-Tank is going to be slightly bigger then your lava tube in regards to diameter, not tall like a DCT. If thats not a concern for you then its great because 5ml is a lot of juice.

When I purchased the LavaTube from Volcanoecigs I ordered their 7ML and 4ML LavaTanks. Use the 7ML on the LavaTube, and the 4ML on some eGo Batteries that I have. In both cases the Tanks are the same diameter as the Mod/Battery.

The eGo fits in my shirt pocket through the Pen Slit for convenience. I ordered a custom Dop Holster from Serenity for the LavaTube, and I'm very happy with that.

I'm using the 1.5 Ohm Dual Coil Carts on both Tanks without a problem. I need to reign in the voltage a bit. See the charrt in the link below. It was an eye opener for me, as I was using voltages far above what is recommended.

Hi and welcome! I just bought a lava tube and this tank. I have not received my lava tube yet but the tank sure is pretty. Also you can buy single coil 2.5 and 3 ohm cartos for this tank for 1.99 or less on this same site. I thought it would be good because it has the flange or lip on the lower part of the carto for the tank to sit on. It was a great price for a 6 ml tank. I don't know how well it works yet but I won't be out much if it won't perform or I decide that I don't like tanks. Good luck:)

@MattyT: I know what you mean about the slippage. I had a full DCT V2 tank slip off and dump a new fill (I made the same comment PBasardo did in his review...). Even still, they're cheap and work well for me.

As long as it works for you Cloud Wizard, thats whats most important :)

For me, when I am at work I have my PV in my pocket most of the time so when I go to grab it I am always grabbing it near the top, majority of the time by the tanks itself. I got the Liquinator when it first came out, that one was slidy too, and dumped a whole tank in my pocket :censored:. But I do agree, you cant beat the price and as long as it does the job for you and keeps you satisfied thats what matters :thumb:

P.S. love PBusardo, very funny yet informative and thorough in his reviews.

I've got a couple of Liquinators and haven't had problems with slippage. I'll use mine with my SB (which isn't light) and pick it up by the tank quite often with no issues. I've found that using tight fitting drip tips on tanks really helps a lot (I use Ming tips from Cherry Vapes most of the time).

I bought my liquinator tank when it first came out and at that time it was very slidy and had to be really careful. Based on your experience with them Strigoi they must have corrected that issue which is good to hear. I really want the 510 Vape-O-Matic Liquinator 8.5mL BFT but was reluctant to do so based on my previous experience but now I think I am going to give it a shot now!!!
