Tank Question

I just received my first set of tanks and atomizers for my eGo, however I have watched videos and read directions on how to use it, but still not working right. My first few vapes are fine then after that I can tell no juice is getting to the atomizer, I have even let it set over night, same results. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or at least point me in the right directions.

Unless you like to fiddle with your eGo, throw the tank atties away. This set-up has proven to be more maintenance than it's worth. The limitation of the wick exceeds most vapers demand. Pair that with its inability to wick thicker liquids makes the eGo-T a fail. This is only my opinion. I started vaping with an eGo-T and quickly figured out why I was dissatisfied and moved on, never to look back. Do yourself a favor and invest in some DC (dual coil) cartos and a DC tank. There is a eGo DC tank that's a perfect fit for eGo batts. Good luck!

Get some Boge 2.0 cartomizers. You'll be much happier.

Some people like the tank atties, and maybe they'll jump in with some suggestions.

I bought an Ego, the bought some Ego-T attys and now I´m on cartos... Ego-T tasted great at first, but then the problems started and the system drinks liquid like a camel!

I´d go carto

Good carto tanks do work well. I'm using a notcigs M1A1 1", with fusion cartos, have also used the tank with various Boge and Kanger cartos, consistently good results. There are other decent carto tanks around.

+1000 on the comments. Ego T has it's supporters but I'm not one of them. Way too much hassel for too little satisfaction. Cartos have come a long way in the last year and most, if not all, problems have been eliminated. Also the new tank systems using cartos have been a major advancement in ease and use. Dump the ego T tanks and attys and get back to enjoying vaping.

May I suggest that you get a real tank for your eGo

This is the one I was talking about. It's the same diameter as the eGo battery, so it's more aesthetic and just doesn't look odd like the 5ml tanks do.

Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer, 3.5ml

They have a special "cone" to cover the outer threads of the eGo batt and make it more sleek, as well.

The eGo-T is very different from the 510-T

You appear to have an eGo battery
with 510 Atomisers and 510-T tanks...

I'm not sure that even works... mainly because I've never used a 510-T

now, had you bought an eGo-T cone atty and eGo-T tanks... these people who replied would have looked like they actually read your post and were responding to it... they clearly were not.

I suggest you get eGo-T attys and Tanks if you want to try an eGo Tank...
It may be for you, mine works brilliantly, no leaks, no dry hits... you may hate it.

That's the thing with Vaping... everyone is different... everyone like and dislikes different things...

Maybe someone with 510-T experience will chime in here and help more... certainly don't take advice from people who can't be bothered to even read your post.

I returned my very first ego T within an hour of buying it. Get a regular tank like shown above. I have a Liquinator and like it .

Understood! So you got the cat why?

I think when and where people can, they go in and meet someone for their first starter kit.

Personally, I found a carto and Tank pretty simple to use and a little less flimsy.

hi Haus & welcome to ECF..i am a fan of the tank/atomizer setup

now the filling of yr tank system..U must follow the correct procedure if not poor vapor and leaky tank..so this is what U need to do..from new cartridge..punctured yr cartridge without taking the cap off and if U can tweezed the flap(the bit of plastic that u just puncture,good..if not just leave it in..will still work fine)..then the next using a syringe with needle inject yr 1/2 ml worth of e-liquid into the chamber..when U done that..look at yr cartridge and yr atomizer..the cartridge is not round or square..more like oblong and the atomizer,the plate is like a figure 8..the air well must be aligned 3 & 9 o'clock(if u do not align,the air track right,will not get good vapor) and yr atomizer plate at 12 o'clock..U locked down yr atomizer onto the cartridge with a definite "click" sound..if U dont the tank will leak(as yr tank is not sitted right) ..having done that u should be able to vape with good vapor and TH(2 ohms atomizer better than the standard 2.3).

periodically u need to q-tip the chamber,the tip end if U see moisture or droplet form in the chamber after vaping for long period..happy vaping regards mafig

Oh geesh. I just went back and re-read his entire post. I'm sorry Haus. If I would have realized what you were trying to use I would have certainly answered differently. I agree 100% with Clippin and apologize to the OP for my haste and ignorance in my reply. Thanks Clippin for pointing out my (our) error.

I only noticed because I like my eGo-T very much and like to comment on eGo-T bashing threads because there are several of us who have had 0 problems... I like to help others who may be missing something and try to bring them the same enjoyment I am getting from mine.

The systems ARE similar, but i know how quirky the eGo-T can be and assume the 510-T probably has it's own unique quirks.

Clippin, while I can understand your frustration, the OP does say "I just received my first set of tanks and atomizers for my eGo..." I put 2+2 and came up with eGo-T. I didn't click the links. Regardless, my question to you would be, "Have you tried anything other than you eGo-T?" I have . I've been at this almost a year, built my own mods, modded mods, dissected Tank atties, figured out their irreparable flaws and moved to bigger, better ,more functional equipment. BTW, I'm not trying to come down on you. Within my first month of vaping, all I could do is expound on the glories of the eGo-T. There was always a nagging question in the back of my mind, tho. "Is this really as good as it gets??" This thing tastes like wolf booty more times than not. Luckily the friends here @ ECF helped me to realize how much better it can be. I just had to put down the mistake I started with. I hope you see the light soon and your vaping experience improves, as well.
