I took a look at the tank you are looking at, and I have to say in my opinion it seems a bit pricey but does look good. I have a GLV2 and I put a tank from AltSMoke on it and could not be happier. The cost was cheaper by over half and looks pretty good.
I went with the clear, but they have a few colors.

It comes with a 1.5 ohm Smok DC, but I am running 2.5 Smok DC in it now @ 5v. I have had no problems with the Smok ones, but you should be able to fit any brand that is able to fit a 6 ml tank. I have had 0 leaks for the last 3 weeks and I fill it daily. It seems REALLY well made.

Yea, you do need an extender. You will never clear the button without it.
Plus, I find having an extender really handy for cartomizers of just an atomizer. It saves having to adjust the pin for what ever you put on the GLV.

I like those too,I think they are 3.5ml.They are slim enough and they look nice.
You could get XL cartos and punch them higher. Then you don't need an extender. Personally I hate using the extenders. They are always so wiggly.
Vision Vivi Nova maybe? I use it with my GLV-2, it fits just perfect and doesn't need any extender.

I prefer 4.0 ohm vision heads. Maybe because I use AW ICR 123 and Ultrafire WF-139 charger. The loaded batteries have 4,2 volts. When put stacked in GLV-2 (resisted version) they give approx. 5.6 volts at the output.
2,8 ohm heads can handle it, but one has to take care that the coil is wet with liquid (ie. don't take one draw after another, often turn the e-cigarette down under to let the liquid flow down to the coil), but, IMO, 2,4 ohms at 5,6 volt (or more) is a real nightmare.

As I feel it's true to much extent, but it depends on the type of the batteries one use. All the high-drain CR123/16350 batteries in GLV-2 with low resistence atomiser give just too much power.

My GLV, with 5,6 volts (batts fully loaded) is more comparable to 6 volt version than to the 5 volt one and I prefer vaping at maximally 10 watts, so 4 ohm carts and attys are my sweet spot

Until my recent vivi nova tank debacle.....and I'm resting that one on my 60/40 juice just not wicking properly.....I never had a problem with any resistance on the GLV-2. I may have had carts that I didn't like but it handled any resistance just fine.
I could go from a 1.5 to a 2.5 (for example) and it never seemed to matter.

And when I say GLV-2, I currently only have a GLV-3 but draw experience from 2 x GLV-2's, & 2 x GLV minis. If not more. I forget how many GLV's I bought and sold some time ago.
