I've got an istick 40w tc with an aspire nautilus mini and I do like it but am just wondering if there was any different tanks and atomizers I could use with my istick? I'm about 3 weeks into vaping and have cut my analogs down to less than 10a day. I'm mostly a mouth to lung vape but also did pick up a direct lung mod but am liking the mtl better. Im just looking for a mtl set up that will offer a better throat hit and more vapor?

I've been trying to look online but with all the info out there I got lost and confused.

I'm still working on the terminology so what is an STM?

Sorry about that. Gramdogg answered. Only other option I can think of would be a RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer), but you would need to build your own coils or get premade coils and wick yourself.

Personally I use original EVOD BCC and rewick it with organic cotton for MTL. Can run 20pg/80vg no problem and it's like $5 or less. If you like tank cracking juice the Protank 1 is the same coil and glass... maybe $10. Alot like a KayFun RTA but you can just rewick the coils instead of building them. They make SOCC (single organic cotton coils) for them now but most places still sell old stock silica junk. Just pull out silica and rewick with organic cotton.

Any of the Eleaf GS series will work well on the 40w. GS Air M, GS Tank etc. Better airflow and flavor than the Nautilus. The coils can be rebuilt even though they aren't really designed for that.

The Ego One tanks are very good too. The CL coils aren't bad but the CLR coils are much better and are easily rebuildable.

The Joyetech Tron uses the same coils as the Ego One and can be filled from the top. I don't own one yet though.

Second that on the ego one or tron. Don't have top fill though, Tron S is side view Tron T stands for top view not top fill... very hard to tell with Tron T how much juice is left.

For staying with the same equipment:
Obtaining both TH and clouds are pretty much mutually exclusive when it comes to altering your PG/VG ratios (increased TH higher PG, increased Clouds higher VG). Need to pick a happy spot in this ratio.
Then for more TH:

Juice type: Tobaccos, menthols juices, or any strong flavors may help
Everclear/vodka, five drops per 10ml.
long pulls 3-6 seconds
higher nic levels
can try different e liquid vendors brands
keep tank clean and topped off

I like the Cubis. General reviews say it's rubbish.

I'm still failing to get anything MTL going on Subtanks, even with the airflow shut down 90%.

Today, I was using Cubis, GS tank (22mm) and Kayfun Monster. The only genuine MTL in there is the GS tank with 2/4-3/4 holes on the airflow.

None of the 'power' tanks are MTL. Not really.

What % nicotine are you using? The easy way to increase throat hit is higher nicotine. If you are still smoking (no lectures here, by the way) you should try that idea. Seriously......

More power = more airflow = less time able to 'draw' MTL.

Thats the bottom in the picture. I'm vaping it right now trust me. It's upside down with the bottom taken off. See the grove on the top? bottom in this picture, thats where the rubber bands go, makes it look like top fill because they don't have the rubber band on it. What it says above the pic on that site...
2. E-juice filling:
Separate the atomizer from battery and unscrew the base from the atomizer. Inject e-juice to the cambered slot.
Look at the other pics, the viewing window is upside down on that one.

Yeah, you're right. My bad. Glad you corrected me. I was planning to buy some thinking they were better than the Ego One V2. Still might though as they are a bit cheaper (at Heavengifts) and come with coils were as the V2 doesn't.

It's still the coolest looking tank too lol. rubber bands are kind of annoying, they get stretched and slip down alot. Nothing major, only other down side is you have to remove the coil to clean it because if you get water in the AFC you can't get it out the normal way because of the hidden design, have to wait for it to dry. When you first get it AFC is super tight to so just turn it a bunch before you use it to loosen it up. End up taking the bottom off by mistake.

You are going to get there if you want, be sure about that.

3 weeks is early days... keep vaping, keep exchanging the odd smoke for the odd vape.

:)
Exchanging the odd smoke for the vape is the hard part for me. I've already cut out so many. 50+ to under ten
